Well I just received that email from above regarding my MB. So essentially it's a paperweight soon. I haven't been using it for several months as it's connected in my office and I've working from home. But when I'm in the office, it does help as coverage is bad in the office. So I guess they are saying the MB will stop working soon.

Mostly the same with me. Told them I'm leaving so then someone from network team called me and after telling them my service went down they switched me back to Sprint network. My service at my house is better on Sprint. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

My Note 8 phone just got a profile update this morning. Now all it does it lock on Band 2. When I have a Band 41 Tower right next to me. I have a MB in the office and it doesn't hop on that now. How can I change if it's possible?

Well I didn't look at the phone much when I was driving. But I was able to stream music and use GPS. Where I was staying I looked several times and never noticed TMobile. Was always Verizon. Heck even had coverage at Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse on Verizon. Once I passed Sioux Falls Sprint was done and Verizon the rest of the way.

This maybe a simple question. I traveled to Mount Rushmore this past weekend and there is almost no native Sprint coverage along I-90 in South Dakota. I was roaming on Verizon 90% of the time in South Dakota. On Sprint that shows Extended LTE and roaming on the phone. Does that mean I have 200 megs on roaming to use?

I have a family member that traveled to Orr, MN and they have no service there. However they have full bars on the phone with the R symbol. LTE engineering shows band 17. Isn't that AT&T? They can't make calls, use text or data. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Thanks for that information. I went ahead and ordered the SIMOLW506TQ sim card for my phone and will be here tomorrow. I hope that allows me to activate the phone and move my number over to the S9. Before I bought the phone I contacted Sprint with the IMEI # and they said that it's cleared to be activated. Since I bought the phone, I've been trying to use the S7 sim card, they are telling me that the phone is locked and to return the phone. They said it hasn't been active in 50 days. I'm wondering if they are talking about sim unlocking. I hope once I get the new sim I can activate this phone.

I got my S9 device to replace the S7 and getting 'please contact Sprint to unlock device' when I put the S7 SIM in the S9. Sprint tells me I need new SIM because it's not compatible. Thought they both have the same SIM. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
