Well nevermind. That new B41 install I mentioned yesterday is actually a Nokia mini macro setup on an existing macro site. Details in the CLT premier thread when I get home.

A mini macro on a macro?

Exactly. Now if they can do this for their small cell densification then I'll be happy lol.

Someone is popping up small cells in my area (Springfield Ma) of course the photos are too big for me to post but I am working on it.

No politician truly "cares" about the merger, it's just what benefits them the most. Hillary could care less as long as son put a nice chunk of $$$ somewhere she could eventually get to. Same with Trump...

Anyone care about one web?
http://oneweb.world/

I remember somewhere in here sprint was planning on using satellites for backhaul or something like that?? In rural areas??
Interesting check out one web... Seems like sprint/SoftBank has big plans for something in 2017. 3000 jobs to one web?? Doesn't seem like a merger to me yet. Really sounds as if SoftBank has something up its sleeve.

Merry Xmas everyone!
Here is a good read explaining 8t8r and sprints plan dated about a year ago.

"using 8 receiver paths instead of 2, cell range is increased by a factor of 1.5 – and this difference is emphasized by the fact that the number of sites needed is reduced by nearly 50 per cent. "

Maybe this is why the reduction of sites.. besides the ones that were already co-located with 8t8r they figured they would need less sites?
