  1. My phone displayed Siminn as the operator but the speedtests showed "Sprint WCDMA". I found the ping times to be fine where I traveled and my battery life to be better than when I'm on LTE in the US, but I also had really solid coverage everywhere I went. Guess it must vary quite a bit depending on the roaming partner.
  2. That was my assumption too, but I received the message, "You are now roaming internationally. Welcome to Sprint Global Roaming...". I logged into my Sprint account and it says "International Data Roaming Additional charge : $0.00", and I also contacted them for reassurance and was told there won't be any data charges. It just seemed too good to be true
  3. I just returned from a trip to Iceland and can't believe how solid the free data connection was with Sprint. As soon as I landed in Keflavik, I received the text messages indicating that I was on Sprint Global Roaming with free data/texts. I was connected to 3G the entire time, even in remote locales (on Siminn), averaging about 2.50 Mbps download speeds. I was able to use Google Maps and pull up websites everywhere I went. It really made it easy/stress-free to navigate the country. It was a great perk to have available.
  4. My iPhone 6 came with a dead UICC. I tried to use the UICC from my 5s to activate and was told that they are not compatible and that they needed to order a replacment UICC for the 6. Here is the info from my order: Item number: 760494000114 Item description: LTEGSM REMOV 4FF CSIM V3
  5. Last time I had connected to b41, I had just activated Google Voice on my phone. I wasn't really feeling the GV integration so I just disabled it and my phone connected again. Maybe someone knows what the correlation would be?
  6. Sorry about the confusion. Like I said, I'm new to android When I click'edit' in the LTE menu, it displays "band 25 priority 1, band 26 priority 0 and band 41 priority 1".
  7. Here you go. It's funny...I'm on a different tower now where I ordinarily get decent LTE speeds, and I'm not getting any data at all. I was picking up 3G in the same spot about an hour ago.
  8. I'm actually new to Android...I modified my settings based on information in forums. I have band 25 and 41 as 1 and band 26 as 0. I was near the 110 freeway and the 91 freeway in Gardena. I just started seeing these speeds in a few places in the South Bay and Westside over the past couple days.
  9. I've been following along on the boards and just wanted to share that I'm starting to see some pretty amazing speeds around LA on my Nexus 5...
