  1. Are any of y'all using nPerf? I started using it more once they allowed mapping your trips. It has several testing options and shows the best technology in the area on the map.
  2. Must be set to on if you want talk & data Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  3. Cleared cache/cookies and even tried on an incognito tab after the first attempt. Got different ads each time I tried though. I was surprised to see a new account activation offer before I cleared everything. I think Sprint is starting to run several more offers now to see if they can get anyone to sign up on free service, cash offers, or reduced service and phone cost.
  4. Not seeing the one year free when I go to their website. First slide that shows up is a $100 per line max $300 for 3 lines when switching to service. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. In many of your post you continue to state that Softbank needs to do more and fund these things for Sprint. It has been mentioned by many others that Softbank can't fund, hand money to, or pay off Sprint's debt. The acquisition of Sprint was structured in a way to make Sprint recover itself. It has also become clear that if Son wanted out of Sprint he would have just accepted an offer and washed his hands of it. Son wants to turn Sprint around quickly and to do this a merge with another company where he has a controlling interest is the best option. I will agree that some of the partners that Softbank and Sprint are talking to aren't the best, I am willing to see what comes from them. If any merger allows the debt to be moved over more subscribers it will help free up capital for growth. Time will tell if anything comes of these talks. I for one hope Sprint focuses on network improvements while they wait. Sent from my SM-T587P using Tapatalk
  6. Found this article. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/how-a-t-mobile-sprint-merger-would-hurt-consumers-2017-09-20 There is also this article. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/softbank-to-drop-merger-of-sprint-t-mobile-us-2017-10-31 Still not 100% sure the deal is dead or if this is all a game. 7. I have two Samsung Tab A's that are connected to my MB. In total there are four devices that are connected to it at my house. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. So instead of wondering if you have a bad phone you want to rant about it. I have none of the issues you are having. If my phone ever starts to lag I reboot it. If you can return it or swap it I would look into those options. Sent from my SM-T587P using Tapatalk
  9. If b26 is still overloaded in your area this would lead to call issues. At my house in Houston the only signal that makes it into most of it is B26 and it is still a weak signal and still overloaded. Sprint says that as little as 1 Mbps is needed to maintain a call but this doesn't mean it will be a great quality call. Outside my house I switch over to b41 3xCA and have no issues. 10. I had issues with call quality in West Texas. I could hear the other person but they couldn't hear me most of the time. When I was driving back to Houston calls got much better with minor issues with tower changes. They are crap again at my house, but LTE signal strength at my house is why I requested a magic box. I think what some of us are witnessing is why Sprint is slowly moving towards VoLTE. Sent from my SM-T587P using Tapatalk
  11. Just got confirmation that my order is shipping today. I was contacted in July about being approved and wasn't expecting to hear anything for awhile on the shipping. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  12. Well so far the call plus feature is a bust for me. But I blame that on the network in West Texas not being ready for it. I can hear people but they can't hear me. Hopefully I will have better luck in Houston when I get home tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  13. If one of the 4 "national" wireless companies is removed by merger or other means prices will go up. Sprint has to find a solution that saves them and prevents the loss of a national carrier. If this means seeking a merge with a cable company so be it. While I wouldn't prefer this if it keeps competitive prices I will be able to accept it. In one form or another all carriers have said that if competition of one company is removed they will all increase their prices. This will only hurt the consumer. There is no way to correct what the auctions did, this was all free market at work. There is nothing fair in business and each has to work with the resources they have. As we have seen they are all swapping spectrum to make things work for them. Sent from my SM-T587P using Tapatalk
  14. You can continue to talk about cable companies merging and that the administration has changed. This doesn't change the fact that since 1890 the government has looked down on monopolies. I also don't know why anyone would want to further take away choices from the consumer and watch prices skyrocket. Sent from my SM-T587P using Tapatalk
  15. Got a call this afternoon. Looks like I will get one anytime between now and mid September. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
