THANKSGIVING/BLACK FRIDAY PREMIER SPONSOR UPGRADE SALE

S4GRU

Recommended Posts

AREN'T CYBER MONDAY SALES AWESOME???

We are offering a discounted Premier Sponsor promotion for Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday.  You can receive a 50% Discount on the amount remaining for you to upgrade to Premier.  Premier Sponsorships never expire!

Premier Sponsorship privileges include access to a lot of exclusive content, including Site Upgrade Schedule Maps and Band 26/Band 41 LTE (Spark) site acceptance maps!  And we will start updating the Schedule Maps with new November data before the end of the month.  And since they do not expire, you’ll never receive another renewal notice again!!

HOW MUCH OF A DISCOUNT DO I GET?

Whatever the remaining balance you have left to upgrade will be discounted 50% during this promotion.  A full Premier Sponsor upgrade typically costs $100.  So if you have donated $50 to date, then you have $50 left to go.  But with the 50% discount it would only cost $25 to upgrade to Premier in this instance.

If you have never donated to S4GRU before, then it would normally cost $100 to upgrade.  With the 50% discount, it would now only cost $50 to upgrade.  Half off!!!

If you are unsure just how much it would be for you to upgrade, just send me a message asking how much it will cost you to upgrade to Premier with the 50% discount.

HOW TO DONATE

This special is only good through Monday, December 1st.  So act fast.

To upgrade to Premier Sponsor go to the Main Forums page, and click on the Donate button under the PayPal logo in the upper right hand corner of the page.  Or click on this link.  Be sure to list your screen name in the Notes section to help expedite your upgrade.

Thank you for considering a donation.  And Happy Holidays!

NOTE:  If you received an email upgrade offer, this is the same exact offer.  However, now it has been extended through the weekend and expires Monday evening, December 1st at 11:59 PM Hawaii Standard Time.

This is really a great deal too bad this was the first I've seen of this.

You can still get in on this if you donate today.

Haha, I just saw this on my tapatalk app since my head has been deep in the books for dead week. Will you guys be using Amazon payment services down the road in addition to PayPal for donations?

I haven't considered that.  Do you have a link I could do some reading up on merchants using Amazon that way?  Additionally, if you wanted to upgrade to Premier, we could still honor the discount for you.

Yeah, here is some info, i'm not sure if you guys managed to get a 401c status or not, but amazon is very helpful for that purpose.    https://payments.amazon.com/help/Amazon-Simple-Pay/Integrating-with-Amazon-Simple-Pay/Amazon-Simple-Pay-Donations

They also have one where normal merchants can also accept users amazon info to accept their money as well.

    • Definite usage quirks in hunting down these sites with a rainbow sim in a s24 ultra. Fell into a hole yesterday so sent off to T-Mobile purgatory. Try my various techniques. No Dish. Get within binocular range of former Sprint colocation and can see Dish equipment. Try to manually set network and everybody but no Dish is listed.  Airplane mode, restart, turn on and off sim, still no Dish. Pull upto 200ft from site straight on with antenna.  Still no Dish. Get to manual network hunting again on phone, power off phone for two minutes. Finally see Dish in manual network selection and choose it. Great signal as expected. I still think the 15 minute rule might work but lack patience. (With Sprint years ago, while roaming on AT&T, the phone would check for Sprint about every fifteen minutes. So at highway speed you could get to about the third Sprint site before roaming would end). Using both cellmapper and signalcheck.net maps to hunt down these sites. Cellmapper response is almost immediate these days (was taking weeks many months ago).  Their idea of where a site can be is often many miles apart. Of course not the same dataset. Also different ideas as how to label a site, but sector details can match with enough data (mimo makes this hard with its many sectors). Dish was using county spacing in a flat suburban area, but is now denser in a hilly richer suburban area.  Likely density of customers makes no difference as a poorer urban area with likely more Dish customers still has country spacing of sites.
    • Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.
    • Good catch! I meant 115932/119932. Edited my original post I've noticed the same thing lately and have just assumed that they're skipping it now because they're finally able to deploy mmWave small cells.
