I see both Verizon and AT&T are getting this.  Has anyone heard rumblings for a Sprinter variant?  I was hoping since they at least have a CDMA version that Sprint would be able to get their bands on it also.

We haven't seen anything come through the FCC about it. So as of today, the answer seems to be no.

The best option would is to wait for a Rom and boot it up on the one m8. This seems like a lost opportunity for htc seeing as they don't have to pay for the use of Windows phone and the work is already done in hardware why not make about 100k for Sprint and see how it sells what harm could that be as in sure the Sprint and Verizon variant would barely be perciptively different. Purchasing trends don't show the demand on Sprint for a Windows Phone device. Until Windows app store meets 90% of Android's most desired apps it's going to continue to struggle. Whether it's a corner cap of Target or the phone cage/cabinet at the back of a Sprint store, if the device isn't selling, it's taking up desired space.

Verizon does have a lot of business customers, since Blackberry is on the decline a lot of shops see Windows phone as the easiest thing to get going without spending a whole lot of money on their back end, since most of their systems are already inside the Windows ecosystem.
