Sprint gave Engadget a close tour of their Samsung roof top site. Great pictures: http://www.engadget....we-go-hands-on/

Great pictures on that article!!!  Thanks for sharing!

EDIT:  So who's going to set them straight??  "That antenna is 1900/800/1900mhz.  No 2.5ghz at all.  Those are Remote Radio Heads, not RF amplifiers."

What is Canadian IBEZ (NO SMR) and why is there a "Special Case PCS Only Setup for Canadian IBEZ?"

This is a complete guess, but we can't throw a 800mhz signal across the border due to whatever federal restrictions there are, but the 1900 is okay.

My guess is that it's a Ericsson RRU behind those panels. So I'd have to say no and I believe the Panels/Antennas used on Samsung setups are made by PowerWave.

That looks like an at&t lte setup rather than a sprint.  I only see 4 wires going into the RRUs.

It's the Canadian version of a PEZ dispenser.

Seriously though, in an unofficial description it's the towers along the US/Canadian border. With 800mhz being a stronger signal than 1900mhz they don't want or aren't allowed to have the signal penetrate across the border like that.

It's the same with Mexico IBEZ.

I believe just 1900 but I'm no expert on 800 rru id.
I know we're slated to get 800 later on which is when the two legacy panels will come down and new equipment will go up.
