Network Vision/LTE - Milwaukee Market (including Madison)

Not one site has B41?

Sent from my LG G4

LTE Plus implies carrier aggregation. We have band 41, and we were mapped as a Spark area, but since the name change/technology upgrade, we had remained on the map as only LTE. This June they changed that on the map, although nothing physically changed.

I'm not sure that marketing and making and engineers talk to each other. Although we understand "LTE Plus" to mean carrier aggregation, most probably understand to it mean any B41 coverage.

Hi all! I'll be in the Milwaukee and Mequon areas in October. How's the Sprint service up that way now?

From what I've experienced, great in areas where it has blanketed coverage. But, places can be spotty! It all depends on the areas you go. Milwaukee is definitely in better standing than around Madison I know!

Btw... be sure to send any logs my way from your trip in the premier thread (link is in my bio). I'd greatly appreciate any data you find!

Hey folks, saw this nugget today.

Tucked in at the bottom under; Other noteworthy issues:

»Green Bay’s improvement and services committee on Wednesday will discuss an agreement with Wisconsin Technology Networking, a subsidiary of wireless infrastructure company Mobilitie, for installing 26 small cell antennas on street lights and utility poles.

Looks like all 26 made it to the regulatory organ. Nifty.

There's a new cell site nearish Curry in the Box in Fitchburg, WI, though I haven't been able to find it yet :( Was a piss-poor 3G area and now I'm getting a strong B26 signal

Be sure to post this news in the North Wisconsin thread so the Green Bay people can see it too!

Great find! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled when I go to GB next time.

    • Was able to install the March 1 Android security patch. Seems slightly more accurate with 5g ca band id, but can not swear by it. Updated google play system update through the software information screen to March 1. *#73# still works. Froze updates waiting on SCP update beta to fix n41 showing as n38.
    • Just installed it. Thanks for the info.  71 mb mar 1st date.
    • There's a permit for a new 47 story building at 205 Montague St in Downtown Brooklyn. The problem is that  T-Mobile eNB 48352 is on the building next door and this new building will block two out of 3 sectors of the site. For reference, the new building will be roughly as tall as 16 Court St which is right across the street. This site is the primary site covering Cadman Plaza so I wonder what the plan is. Will they just try to change sector placement, move to a different building, or will this just speed up the conversion of the Sprint site at 25 Monroe Place?
    • At least not recently.  I think I might have seen this a year ago.  Not Sure.
    • Did they previously hop between n38 and n41 in prior version of SCP, or have you always seen n41 displayed properly?
