My question is do customers on tower share the back haul or does each customer have their own cable runs? The Fiber cables they are running look to be about 3 inches diameter Sometimes they share backhaul. But it is very rare. It usually only occurs when a site owner develops a site, they may offer backhaul to the carrier. We have one such site here at the Santa Fe Opera. It usually is shared with aav service unless the bandwidth sprint asks for is more than the fiber can support. One pair of fiber should be well more than enough though. 10 Gb/s would not be unreasonable for max bandwidth on a pair of single mode fiber. 1 gig per pair is more common though.
