  1. Supporting article: http://www.kansascity.com/2013/09/06/4461371/international-expansion-for-sprint.html If SoftBank/Sprint were to expand into Canada and Mexico, and offer Unlimited Roaming Data, with a an industry first Transnational voice+text+data Plan, wouldn't that be the most amazing thing ever? What would those specifics be? Isn't there still a CDMA1x network still in operation in Canada? Couldn't Sprint buy out that network? Rundown of Canadian Wireless Industry = Not Good - http://www.michaelgeist.ca/content/view/6803/125/ And in Mexico, a CDMA1x/EV-DO carrier is still active, with an iDEN network as well... The 2.5Ghz frequency is has been open for business in Mexico for quite some time... Will Sprint buy that too? It it available for telecom use in Canada? My post is not well thought out. I don't want to take the time to research compatible frequencies. So help me out. I have the idea, now as a community, help build out this transnational vision!
  2. Came across a youtube video of a wireless device dated from 1922 on British Pathe http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/10772434/British-Pathe-uploads-85000-historic-films-to-YouTube.html
  3. Hey all cant find anything searching the Forums. So I am wondering if someone can help me out here. I currently have a Belkin N750 DB Wifi Dual Band N+ Gigabit Router and an Airave unit. Both units are right next to each other. My home is about 1500sf ft. Using both bands on the router; 2.5ghz and 5ghz. Since PCS is at 1900 I am correct to assume this is close to 2.5gbs aka 2500? During they day my wireless signal drops to just about nothing that is usable by my TIVO, Note2, Sony 3100 BluRay Player or Wii etc etc etc. How likelly is it that the 2 units are severely interfering with each other? What distance should I place one from the other? Thanks for the feedback. @l3x
  4. Danny Bullard Sprint 4G Rollout Update Saturday, March 24, 2012 - 10:44 AM MDT According to iDownloadBlog, the iPhone 5, or whatever Apple decides to call it, will reportedly pack 4G LTE according to iOS 5.1 code strings. Until now, all the other LTE iPhone rumors have just been speculation and wishful thinking. The code strings says: We can gather that this line in iOS5.1 must be created for use in the new iPhone, because the new iPad cannot make phone calls. Although it seems odd that the Apple iPhone would not support simultaneous voice and LTE. The new LTE Android devices from Sprint have been confirmed to handle SVLTE. Perhaps it just cannot be enabled while a call is in process? Or maybe it is not compatible with one or more carriers in the world? So, if the new iPhone packs LTE connectivity with a faster processor, bigger display and the rumored aluminum casing, will you buy one on Sprint's LTE network? Assuming Sprint gets a LTE iPhone, of course. Sound off in the comments. Photo Courtesy of BGR.com Source: iDownloadBlog
