  1. Did some tests today since I haven't in awhile. Was waiting for my kid on 4th st in El Cajon, between granite hills HS and Montgomery Middle. Pleasently surprised. I wanted to hit 200 so bad, but figured I'd keep testing as a quasi stress test when the brats at the middle school is out at 2:30. I believe the antenna is at shadow mountain church, which is east and across the High School. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  2. Interesting. I can see that instersection from My home on a hill very nearby. My texts and data have been all over the place and lag big time. Now I see why, looks like 800 is being activated. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

  5. Wowzers!!! Much better than my numbers that are all over the charts (all at same location). Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  6. Looks like the sign says Lusk and that makes sense since it cuts through their campus in Sorrento Valley. Maybe my eyes and brain are playing tricks on me though. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  7. That's what I was afraid of. I thought I remembered seeing similar outside UCSD but could have sworn I connected to it there. It's going to be great for vzw customers once these come online, they're on every block. Sent from my LGLS992 using Tapatalk
  8. I've noticed 3 small cells locally off the east end of Scripps Poway... I've searched and searched and found similar ones used on a Verizon build in San Fran by Extenet. Any one know for sure? Sent from my LGLS992 using Tapatalk
  9. My LTE stays connected on G2 but slow speeds recently. Its ok anyways because i force it in 3g so it will work with my Air Rave, which as of lately hasnt been connecting either... hmmm
  10. loving the phone since picked it up before new years, and best buy system forgot to charge me tax! Since I did buyback, i walked out with a gift card and 3 new phones (which were free to upgrade). I got Paid to upgrade! Swipe was freezing my phone, was happening with slow loading of keyboard after restarts, then became sluggish and freezing at all times, changing the keyboard has resolved all issues, EXCEPT phone wont connect with airrave for calls when 4g is enabled, if i force to 3g its perfect. I am topography challenged from the tower (on hill, so above tower 1 mi away) so that may be the issue... phoned sprint and they say its phone not connecting with airrave due to technology/switching. (basically a get him off the line response). They said to just force to 3g when i get home to solve the problem, but how does that solve anything when i have to constantly be switching? I have forced the other 2 phones to stay in 3g just to have better voice signals at homes. I skimmed the posts and didn't see anything about this, is anyone familiar with the issue?
  11. What if were taking the rumor too literally. What about a tower sharing agreement? Operate separately but share tech? Now to a business you want control, and I know its a unlikely scenario... but what if they entered into a 5 year tower sharing agreement, and exchanged some spectrum or entered exclusive roaming agreements? They could modernize, and lower costs by eliminating redundant antennas/towers, and create a standard frequency preference/phone tech among the two. The End Game? it gets them competitive in the next few years, but companies want autonomy and control, so it'd have to end at some point. "The Enemy Of My Enemy Is My Friend" Just a off the wall thought.
  12. You're right, I even posted it previously, it does cover what looks to be all of OC. Wishful Thinking.
  13. Thats about right with the IBEZ, I believe it was close to the OC/SD and the SD/Temecula line. I've heard rumors of a possible agreement to lower the IBEZ to the 8. South (where I live by 1 mile) would still be in the zone... but nonetheless I think thats a fair compromise. of course, these were unconfirmed rumors and are dependent upon Mexico and their networks and legislation. EDIT: Notice how San Ysidro is now next to valley center? Interesting. LOL.
  14. Combine the smaller, yet most aggressive companies in terms to upgrading technologies, and those companies are the most consumer friendly with plan pricing/data usage? I am neither for/against such a merger at this point, but I don't see a reason to bash it. Sprint has great spectrum range low/med/high where TMo has great Mid Spectrum and great metropolitan coverage. I think such a merger may work, and it may be required to actually compete more evenly against the larger 2 companies. I believe I read a article that Hesse is not interested in the 600 auction. But with TMo purchase of VZW 700 licenses, may be a good compliment. Who Knows, all speculation at this point, but comparing to Nextel merger seems unfair, like telling the story of how you got a scar, regardless - its in the past.
  15. Recently Upgraded to the LG G2 (great device) and I rarely drop to 3g. Granted, I'm mostly in East County, but even when venturing out for Dr. appts to la jolla, del mar etc still a LTE signal.... now its not the strongest signal but this phone hangs on even in fringe LTE and Ive noticed no adverse speeds (below 5Mbps) when I have NO bars. Dramatic Difference from the last few months! I'm going to remap alot of the areas I had mapped before because the light purple will be changing to darker on Sensorly.
