  1. I think one part of the equation that I believe is missing with the speed tests that were done. Verizon, AT&T and TMO are have caps set on the amount of data a person can use without being charged extra. If you know that you are limited on the amount of data that can be used in a billing cycle, are you going to keep your wireless data turned on 24/7? The answer is NO!!! You will turn off your data and use it sparingly. With Sprint, there is not a data cap. You can leave it on all the time and have the same invoice. So why disconnect? I believe they should have taken into account how many much traffic is going through particular tower and factor it in. I bet if you took the same traffic factors and divided the numbers equally amungst the carriers, the speed tests would be very similar.
  2. AJ, you can always tell them that "Five dollars is all my Mom allows me to spend..." But hey, bring the Framily, you can get the love for less...
  3. Welcome back Robert. We know that you will be back in full swing once you have the opprotunity to catch up. Just come up for air every once in a while.
  4. I would but I may be caught and chained to the assembly line.
  5. I am in the same thought as sbolen. History would tell us that it will be a September launch of the new iPhone. There was an article floating around about a German telecom company is telling thier subscribers that they will have the new iPhones on 9/19. It would be par for the course. I believe the bigget issue is that Apple needs to build inventory before the release. It would not be good business sense to release the phone and have a two month backorder to get the phone. That would not vote well with consumer confidence (or patience).
  6. That twitch must be turning into the full blown crack shakes by now
  7. Regardless of the finger pointing, poor decisions by previous leaders, etc..., at least Masa has a plan and is looking forward on how to really "build a better network" with Sprint. As he said, he is only six months into a three to five year plan. I see what he was able to do with Softbank in Japan and it took some time to get there. Hopefully Masa's plan will be implemented quickly but we all have witnessed the progress of NV 1.0, it has taken a couple of years to get where we are today but look at the last six months, the pace of the NV 1.0 upgrades really took off. I will contribute this to Masa. Now we are into NV 2.0. As we are reading in the Premier Sponsor area, it is really moving forward. Granted, in this microwave generation, we want it now but it is happening. Again, time will tell.
