  1. T-Mobile LTE & Network Discussion V2

Ping is too low and upload is too high for this to be on LTE. This has to be a fake.
  2. [Proposed] Sprint Tmobile merger Disc.

At&t buying Dish? Not a chance! Now if Dish were to divest their unused spectrum, then that's a different story.
  3. It should be a top priority. Upload is very important as more and more people upload pictures, videos, and host live streams on social media. Those UL speeds reflect this. Too many people uploading junk to the internet. Personally, I don't get the need for people to have their lives displayed 24/7. But I'm sure I'm in the minority...now get off my lawn.
  4. Have you ever been to one of their stores? It's so bloody annoying. The Apple Store is one of the reasons I can't own an Apple phone. Walk in for a purchase, and the blue shirts will swarm you. Walk in for a repair, and they'll avoid you like the plague. And maybe this is just me, but every store I've been to just rubs me off as smug. If you need your phone serviced you have to make an appointment, which at times can take up to a week. Sure, you can always mail it in, but that means being without a phone for over a week and a half. With Google and Fi, they'll just overnight you a replacement for warranty claims. There's no taking time off your day to drive to a crowded shopping center and losing time waiting for them to service your phone.
  5. Google has done the same for their phones (Nexus/Pixels). And they don't have the annoying stores where you are forced to make an appointment and wait for a repair. Google just replaces your phone for even the smallest of issues.
  6. You said the prices have gone up for the last couple of years but this is the first year the base model has seen a price hike. It went up from 649 to 699.
  7. This is absolutely false. The latest iPhone always started at $649 MSRP. This is the first year in which the iPhone started at $699 (while they did bump the storage memory, everyone and their Mamas know memory is cheap)

I also can't figure out how to edit my posts on mobile. I guess my "Tuesday" and other typos will just have to stay up. Gotta love Gesture typing.
  9. No gas or generator? Finding gasoline the week after Harvey was like striking gold in most of Texas. I hope you have dry ice and yeti coolers in case power goes out. Hurricane Ike in 2008 caused power outages for over a week in my place. Generator helped us run the refrigerator and a few fans. Also kept cellphones charged.

The mobile site actually looks nicer. There's no doubt about that. But my main gripe is that whenever you click on a topic with a new response. It now takes you to the first post of the first page. Before Tuesday change, clicking oonthe thread would take you to the first unread response so you could pick up where you left. You can also click on the time to go to the very last response, but then you'd miss an antire conversation. I am definitely not getting used to that.

Well... You were right on both fronts.
  12. Clearwire WiMAX/TD-LTE carrier band plan

  13. Is this pointed towards the West or South??? Because it sure looks that way by the position of the lights. I wonder if they are hoping the hills block the signal from going right into Juarez.
  14. Galaxy Note 8 rumors, specs, thoughts, etc

What about once he tried to reach for the fingerprint sensor?
  15. Network Vision/LTE - Houston Market

I haven't checked to see if At&t had a spectrum swap with Sprint lately. I believe the last time At&t swapped spectrum in Houston was with Verizon were they lost spectrum in Houston and gained somewhere else (iirc...memory is foggy). At&t, for the time being, is set. They have one wide 20x20 LTE carrier in the PCS band that unfortunately sits right smack in the middle of Sprint's G block and E block. Not much incentive for them to move. But if Sprint/At&t did swap spectrum on paper, then it hasn't happened in the field. The center DL for EVDO channels 725 and 775 were 1966.25 mhz and 1968.75 mhz, respectively. The center DL for the new LTE carrier is 1967.5 mhz This was just good old fashioned spectrum repurposing. The E block to be exact.
