  1. Less of an apology than a damage control in regards to the EFF. One thing he isn't is transparent and that falls in line with BS used Shady car salesman pitch! Same ole same ole.
  2. Ah yes the new unlimited plans I'm aware of but I was thinking on the legacy plans. Thanks for clearing that up.
  3. FYI Update: G4 users in the G4 community on Google+ this morning are reporting an update being pushed OTA.
  4. Doesn't he always, just like a used cheap car salesman and Tom wheeler the FCC turns a blind eye and allow them to wipe their ass with his net neutrality book.
  5. No I didn't catch that. My bad! I'm definitely out of the loop in regards to what you just mentioned. ● btw it's contagious because I seen it used immensely over social networks Loose vs lose Sigh...
  6. Lose in this content is correctly used. Loose is an entirely separate meaning. See link... http://grammarist.com/usage/loose-lose/
  7. No way JOSÈ!! The only way I switch is if they took ED plans away from my dead cold hands. Unlimited everything FTW!! Btw everything you just claimed you better get it in writing or you'll get fubar'd. Especially the loyalty Credit because that's specifically for legacy plans and the employer discount goes towards the data fee and not the plan itself. To date I have not seen anything comparable or better to the ED plans. ● Be mindful because what sounds too good to be true most probably is. Especially your first billing cycles, guarantee they'll be a lot of questions.
  8. Loyalty credits is what got me to embrace the newly introduced Lease and Easy Pay finance programs offered to clients on Legacy plans. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't even batted an eye. Word has it UNFORTUNATELY is that Sprint has downgraded from $15 loyalty credits to $10 effective 1 November 2015. Now that CHAPS my hide! Fortunately I upgraded prior to that drop date and received the $15 loyalty credits on all 3 lines plus promo of $200 ea line for trade in a smartphone towards the account. I traded in a SII, Arrive & Evo 3D Made out very well.
  9. FYI Reports are coming in from G4 owners are receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow right before midnight. Happy New Years Eve! Oh its now New Years Day 2016!!!
  10. No, the other G4 has not received the update as of yet however guarantee if I do a force push I could get it. I'm just not that inclined to do it, lol. However the other G4 I did the force push on is doing fantastic!
  11. Just heads up. This a prelude of things to come so it be best to prepare yourself. Subsidy is the thing of the past so do it now or add a line before years end. Come Jan 2016 I forsee Sprint killing subsidy financing in favor of Easy Pay and Lease. Ebrace it or simply buy out the device retail either through Sprint, Amazon or Swappa & eBay.
  12. Well unfortunately if you didn't receive the OS update OTA when it initially released it normally takes up to 2 weeks time frame before it hits so that being said at least you can expect it by the EOM December 2015.
  13. As stated in my last post I've went ahead and did a force OS update to one of the G4s on hand and it was successful. Android 6.0 Marshmallow
  14. Here's something I've done in the past and it's worked but haven't tried it on this device. YET!! ● Not recommended. I'm not liable for any issues now or in the long run from these actions. Force OTA update: First update prl & profile Under settings>apps: Clear "data" for Google Play Services under manage space "Force stop" Google Services Framework & clear "data" Next reboot. Run the Systems Update through Sprint Zone App under Device Diagnostics>System Update>Device Software The date in the Software Update should have a date of 1969 if so tap Check Update. * It may take awhile for the update to take so be patient. Once it finds it it'll let you know it's downloading and that will also take some time because it's a big file. Once that's complete an option at the bottom screen will appear to proceed with the update. Good luck!
  15. I've noticed the greyed area as well but at the same time took notice at the same time that the system identifies with the account and if its subsidy qualified ( meaning out of contract) it will be available and if not ( still in contract) it will be greyed out, not accessible however if you qualify for the other two financial programs you'll have access to use them. Btw. Don't forget legacy customers get loyality credits towards the new finance programs so it offsets the additional monthly costs. I have 3 lines this year on lease and for each line I get $15 credit monthly bringing the billing the same as if I used subsidy except of course I don't keep the devices. Yes its an option to buy out at the end but would you!? It's most definitely debatable.
  16. Strange. This is a first! Take it with a grain of salt when it hasn't been made official through normal channels.
  17. First like everyone is asking is the update to marshmallow Android 6.0 OTA push Second did you do a hardware reset back to manufacturers specs. That being said I always recommend a hard reset after an OS update. Always! It purges your system and start fresh that way the device runs at peak performance.
  18. Yes sir indeed. It's Android 6.0 Marshmallow! http://www.androidcentral.com/marshmallow-update-rolling-out-sprints-lg-g4?utm_campaign=trueAnthem:+New+Content+(Feed)&utm_content=5673895ad3aa56000517022c&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=facebook
  19. OTA or pc software OR is it root?? How did you get it!
  20. \ Congrats! * btw no I didn't and I upgraded 3 of the lines not too long ago to the G4 Do I need to register the device with LG because I haven't as of yet.
  21. FYI LG has posted the source for Android 6.0 Marshmallow http://opensource.lge.com/osSch/list?types=ALL&search=LS991
  22. Yes. I seen the update posted earlier this week on Sprint's website for the G2 but there's no telling when it'll actually get pushed OTA. Case in point the Moto X 2013 on Sprints website had the update to Android Lollipop 5.1 & Stagefright plus other enhancements posted mid November and yet the OTA push just started a day ago. So who knows when ZVI will start to get pushed out. ● btw I'm on Ver 5.0.2 on the G2 but don't have any Spark logos at all.
  23. Sweet! The Moto X PE 2015 is a great successor to the OG Moto X.
