  1. It was an upgrade in late October 2015.
  2. Upgrade was end of month of October 2015.
  3. The LG G4 (Non-Rooted) Need to know if this is a software or hardware issue. Today the device wouldn't turn on. Removed the battery for a minute. Placed the battery back in. Powered up! Looked to be okay then froze and restarted. Now it's in a loop restarting from welcome screen to main display then again and after two or three times it shuts off and needing again to remove the battery to power up. Also TRIED a hard reset step but when it looks to be pulling up the recovery mode it stalls then goes to the " LG life's good powered by android " screen display but doesn't go anywhere. It stuck there. Recommendations!
  4. Sounds like an isolated incident. No connection issues in either voice, text or data. Smooth sailing on band 41, 4G LTE+ 2xCA Reaching speeds of 100 + Mbps. •Btw did the update from lollipop 5.1.1 to marshmallow 6.0.1 this past weekend and also did multiple hard resets and cleared cache. Thus far buttery smooth.
  5. That would be fantastic news for DT in regards to Comcast buying out t-mobileus. And could turn out the better for everyone all around in the US mobile wireless market.
  6. Most intriguing! Any time table on the articles press release. I'm really looking forward to it.
  7. Just now received the prompt to update the software. http://imgur.com/je7EaBe
  8. Map links are inconclusive. Do you have a link covering this news. Officially! FierceWireless, Wall Street Journal, etc
  9. I take it tmobile wasn't expecting a fierce competition in the airwaves auction but now that has changed. http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKCN0VP2AA?feedType=RSS&feedName=technologyNews
  10. Word has it it's the n920c international unlocked from Cambodia. Hmm http://www.sammobile.com/2016/02/19/android-6-0-1-marshmallow-comes-to-the-galaxy-note-5-sm-n920c/
  11. I just read that as well and all I got to say is. WTH does that even mean!
  12. I would. If not then no one is copying anything from anyone on any playing field. There simply being competitive. Invented vs Inovation. An idea flourishes never means that they copy, right!
  13. This is fantastic news for not only Sprint and it's customers but for consumers overall. Let's get this train rolling and keep it in motion instead of stagnant. btw I like where this is heading.
  14. Not even close. Once again Steve Harvey screws up the Miss Universe pageant and now the most carrier towers for us major wireless networks. That boy just continues to dig himself deep into the ground.
  15. I came across the same issue and I went on communities inquiring on this and everyone pointed out the same thing. It's the u_s_b cable going bad or has gone bad. The recommendations were also equal to replace the cable but keep the charger. So I did I had a generic USB cable on hand and that did it.
  16. Yes that's what I was getting at, the antenna performance among manufacturers make a huge difference. It all depends on location and that's all wrapped into the different variety of bands/Mghz but just focusing on one location with different carrier networks all being equal and with different devices all being new the performance still differ because of the antenna in the hardware. That's the main point and why I wish Google's fi would allow other devices than just Nexus.
  17. Interesting you brought that up. Through my experience just on one of the four major carriers devices have known to function or perform differently based on manufacturer and the technology of hardware in the radio chip. So I guess what I'm trying to say is if only Google's fi would allow far more devices on its project instead of Limit it to Nexus devices. I'm a firm believer in each device performing or performance in radio chip differs immensely. Thanks for the feedback. Great info!
  18. Thanks for the heads up! I would guesstimate end of March or in April for an OTA push to Android marshmallow.
  19. Yes I read that earlier today. My first reaction FINALLY!! Now let's see if Tom wheeler aka FCC will enforce the net neutrality rule book or continue to allow legere and t-mobile to wipe their ass with it.
  20. FYI PhoneArena just came out with the four major wireless carriers data plans. Check it out! .http://www.phonearena.com/news/Verizon-vs-AT-T-vs-T-Mobile-vs-Sprint-data-plans-and-phone-payments-compared_id77601
  21. Yes the G4 issue is starting to get some serious attention now. http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-communications/mobile-phones/lg-finally-acknowledges-g4-boot-loop-problem-and-it-s-offering-a-fix-1313769?utm_content=buffer749fb&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
  22. FYI It appears that the issues with the G4 has gone global. https://www.change.org/p/lg-mobile-launch-a-replacement-program-for-defective-lg-g4s?recruiter=87198986&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink
  23. In regards to the link on the quick charger, it says Qualcomm certified but the Note 5 is Exynos!
  24. I'm not too hard bent in regards to subsidies (2yr contracts ) going away like it was in the beginning of last year. In fact at the end of last year with all the sales and promos I took advantage of the lease program. But this is one thing I do have to say that as long as Sprint continues loyalty Credit I have really no issues and I'm good to go. It was bad enough they dropped the loyalty Credit from $15 to $10 but if they get rid of it all together then yes I definitely have an issue with upgrades only through lease and easy pay.
