  1. It's awesome!!! Currently at 67% at 7:46 PM and it estimates will last until 4:30 PM tomorrow. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  2. Yes, the eSIM worked and it was easy! Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  3. My Pixel 4A is coming today. Am I correct in assuming that the SIM card from my unlocked Pixel 2 will work in the unlocked 4A?! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  4. I have been getting more and more LTE Roaming on Tmo Band 66 in the Allentown area. Is this new, or am I just noticing it in places I haven't been to before? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  5. I hate the way the volume slider works now. Having it always default to media volume is stupid. It was much better before when it defaulted to ringer and then changed to media if you had sound playing. I also dislike how Bluetooth has changed. When the phone rings, the ring plays through Bluetooth and on the phone. However, notification sounds only play through Bluetooth. With a third party Bluetooth add-on in my 2008 Subaru Legacy, I only hear calls now unless I turn off Bluetooth. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  6. Anyone download Pie? I love the way it looks but hate how difficult they made a lot of settings changes now. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  7. Agree! Love the way it looks but really hate how it works! They seem to have changed Bluetooth so that it can't ring on the phone and Bluetooth at the same time. I have an add on Bluetooth in my car and now I don't hear any rings or texts unless I switch to that input. Stupid. Unless there's a setting I'm missing. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  8. I HATE the new volume slider. Why the hell would they default it to control media volume? It is way too difficult now to control ringer volume. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  9. I have a Google Pixel 2. Certainly wasn't cheap!!! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  10. I was out today near Kutztown, PA, and this particular area is a Sprint dead zone (was on a back road). I noticed I had the R icon, and the signal meter had an H next to it instead of 3G or LTE. Signal Check said I was on GSM. The about phone menu said HSPA+ roaming. I couldn't make a phone call and I don't think data was working either. I have a Pixel 2. It eventually went to 3G and then Sprint LTE. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  11. Sweet! Found it and now it works like I wanted. After Sprint finishes ringing it now goes straight to GV voicemail. No more 60+ seconds before voicemail. I feel like if I missed an important call someone would have just hung up and not left a message if they had to wait so long. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  12. So I'm really enjoying my unlocked Pixel 2. I've activated Google Voice and conditional call forwarding and the visual voicemail app is working great. The only thing that bothers me is the length of time it takes to get to the voicemail. If I call my phone from my landline and don't answer, at the end of the Sprint ring, it goes to Google Voice and rings for another 20-30 seconds before the voicemail picks up. Is there a way to change this? I feel like if someone important was calling me and that happened, they'd just hang up after waiting for so long listening to the phone ring.
  13. I just read that it doesn't actually use Quick charge, it's something called Power Delivery and it needs to be a USB-C to USB-C cable. I ordered a brick and a longer cord on Amazon so I'll see how that works. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  14. I have the 6 GB Family Share plan (or whatever its official name is). Today's bill came and suddenly the add-on lines are $25 a month instead of $20. Has anyone else noticed this?
  15. Phone came today. The chat agent I chatted with on Sunday night sent the wrong SIM card - I even asked 3 times because I knew it was wrong, but they insisted it would work. It did not. Called in and the tech support called the local Sprint store to check if they had the correct one - they had ONE in stock. So I ran over there ASAP and got it up and running. Was pretty simple after that. Drove home to find my phone line leading to my neighborhood was totally destroyed somehow -- copper line cut in half and pairs oozing out all over the place -- so no DSL and Wifi. So it's pretty annoying to set up a new phone with no Wifi. I'm currently using it as a Hotspot and it's working great, even with a low signal in the basement. First thing I've noticed: it doesn't charge rapidly with any of my current QuickCharge 3.0 cubes or cords. That's kind of annoying, but certainly not a deal breaker. It does work with the included cord. Just annoying because I have quite a slew of QC 3.0 / USB-C cords in varying lengths. It didn't even like the HTC branded ones from the 10. I'll figure out the Google Voice visual voicemail thing tomorrow and/or whenever my DSL line gets fixed.
