  1. PRL is 25006, the need to change was to see if another version would change result... I somehow jinked up my nandroid of stock ICS and the phone won't boot to it. I ended up factory resetting and the re-flashing the CM rom I had on it (CM10 nightly 10_03) and that seems to have resolved for the moment. I am able to get a data session on LTE now, or at least the device says I do... speeds are avg 3-6 DL and 2UL so whatever connection I have isn't great. -108dBm on LTE
  2. I have just recently got both the CM10 rom on my device along with LTE coverage near me and have an odd issue. I generally have wifi coverage so data isn't a problem, but I noticed once I picked up LTE coverage, if I turn off my wifi, my device says it is still connected to LTE but cannot establish a data session. even if i cycle though connection settings, reboot, etc.... Anyone else seeing this or similar issues Also, is there anyway to update PRL on a mod?
  3. Running EVO LTE with CM 10 so I can't get the normal stats from dialer but I pulled this app, Network Info, https://play.google.....android.telnet which is showing an reception stat of -85 dbm (ASU:99) while the status section under phone settings is showing reception of -105 (ASU:97) and shows mobile network type as LTE:13. Just wondering if this App is really seeing LTE signal because the phone gives me full bars when it says connected to LTE but it drops to 1-2 of 4 when I turn off LTE and go to CDMA/EVDO and the app and the phone then show ranges of -79 to -88 while connected to EVDO A, what do you guys think.... sorry no screenshots
  4. The OTA for the EVO wasn't listing any changes for LTE radios. it was mainly for wallet and wifi fixes... but you never know.
  5. I could not locate these settings in evo lte,as it does not have an "others" selection or anything I have found that has the ability to put it on LTE only, but I did make the below changes to the HTTP and RTSP ports and proxy's and am seeing somewhat better 3g throughputs (by better i mean - before changes i was getting 200-600k DL and 100-200 UL, after change have seen consistent 600k DL and 400 UL, with some testing reaching 1+Mbs DL....) Once you have MSL and enter it and reach the EPST page: select Advanced select RTSP/HTTP Setting (make note of current configs) change RTSP proxy IP to 0.0.0.0 change RTSP proxy port to 0 change HTTP proxy IP to 0.0.0.0 change HTTP proxy port to 0 After changes are made reboot device. these are reversible if you don't achieve desired results Hope you find improvements
  6. Take us to school Prof wavelength!! Thank you good sir, that was an excellent rundown that even a moron such as myself can understand. now to get it to the masses of other morons... you mind if I transmit that bit of RF awesomeness to other interwebs?
  7. I was seeing similar 4G coverage near lake Lewisville between The Colony and Little Elm. But unfortunately speeds were erratic along with the coverage popping in and out so i couldn't get any worthwhile screencaps. I was seeing between 2-4 bars (out of 6) on Evo LTE. This gives me hope that there will be service near my area soon after launch. Can't wait for Monday.
