  1. They will be most likely updating the PRL to roam on T-Mobile LTE first instead of US Cellular or AT&T for LTE. They will probably need to keep Verizon for 1xRTT roaming. Regardless we will need a new PRL so once we see that let the testing begin :)

    Current Sprint PRLs

Mine did the same... wonder if they combined the corporate and personal PRLs Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  3. It's weird I tried disabling roaming and there is for sure no 1x Sprint around... Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  4. I'm up north this weekend and noticed tons of improvement 75 had coverage the whole way. Interesting at Boyne Mountain I have full Sprint LTE with Verizon 1x roaming. Maybe they don't care with VoLTE coming? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  5. 256QAM made a huge difference in speed for T-Mobile when they activated it. I believe the same will occur for Sprint if they can implement. We have a commitment of early next year. I hope Sprint meets this... It will be awesome. I know it doesn't make much of a difference with Band41 (it will for Band 26 and 25). It will make some (more) difference even on 41 with a HPUE device.

Official Airave 3 LTE / S1000 NSC Thread

It is not available. You would need to go to postpaid to get one.

There are lots of NAT bugs with your router. I'd try searching for a NAT timeout option or disable NAT acceleration.

Can you tell me a little about your network? I have a feeling something is dropping the VPN tunnel to Sprint.

Official Airave 3 LTE / S1000 NSC Thread

It has one way handoff from the Airave to the Macro network but not the other way around. Actually for me when I come in to Airave coverage from macro coverage it drops the call.
  10. Next update is supposed to be a Google Maps based map...
  11. So what are everyones thoughts about the Sprint VoIP patent lawsuits targeted at cable... I think the reason for the lawsuits is backhaul. If they can have a settlement on the patent infringement they can gain backhaul with what is owed to them. I think that might be the play there. I see they are going after Charter and Mediacom. https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/12/04/sprint_calls_out_charter_with_chatpatent_sueball/
  12. For sure... this map.was pre-merger fallout so plans have probably gotten bigger or one can hope. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  13. I'd like to repost this map as it looks like this is the expansion they are making on the fringe in theory. I'm wondering if this is just the 2018 expansion. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  14. I love the plan to get all bands on all towers... this is something with low band that T-Mobile has not done. It will give Sprint an advantage if they choose to do this in addition to the high band add.

    sprint network 2018 predictions

Very true but if you can't get it 64QAM would still be supported. I think it would make more of a difference for Band 25 / Band 26 to increase the cell throughput capacity correct? I mean that is why every other carrier has gone to 256QAM correct? For Example T-Mobile deployed 256QAM on their 5x5MHz of Band 12 and saw a 33% capacity increase. We really need that increase in low / mid band. High band it wouldn't make as much of a difference unless on top of the tower but still would help.
  16. Gunther posted this interview on his YouTube today... Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  17. I just know from my data speed testing before and after it was implemented... I guess that might be a narrow view Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  18. One other thing... doesn't it make the cell spectrum more efficient and increase capacity overall ? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  19. I just know on T-Moble it really helped network reliability and speed. Also I think they should work on multiple band CA between 800 and 1900 then keep the B41 CA how it is... Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  20. I just want 256 QAM... wondering when that will happen Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

I'm wondering what is stopping Sprint from moving forward on 256 QAM Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Samsung Galaxy S8 & Dual Sim/Duos

I don't think so... I have the same issue as you with 1900 not penetrating deep in to my house. 800 was always fine. I ended up switching the Magicbox out for an Airave 3 LTE as it also boosts the 1x Voice. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Essentially a sprint exclusive.

No Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  24. In my area Sprint has tons more native coverage where T-Mobile has fair i.e. no service. One example is Dansville, MI. T-Mobile has no tower and no service for 20 miles around it but Sprint has a tower right in town with B25/B26/and B41. Sprint's network in Michigan is way more dense then T-Mobile. I couldn't take the no service anymore and switched back to Sprint. I'm very happy now with my decision Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
