How close are you to the nearest Canadian shore? With 25km requires lower power iirc. LTE 800 typically opens up like an umbrella - very short distance/small coverage area first, with full extend not reached for several months. B26 3x3 and 5x5 both work this way. Typically 1x800 is done first, so you could check the distance for it to see the maximum boundary if limited for some reason. Of course 1x800 normally far exceeds LTE 800.
Not close to the shore... Based on what you said I'm thinking they will up the power more after some tuning.

DE54XC788 Got LTE800 at the beginning of December finally. It seems to be broadcasting at a lower power level but I think might be normal for IBEZ 3x3 sites

I have the non-XL Pixel 3 and haven't noticed 1X issues.. in my experience, all reception is significantly improved over the original Pixel. Is there something specific going on with the XL?

Just getting no 1x service when my S9+ did have service in the same location. I've also noticed the 1x db levels are a lot worse on my 3 XL. I haven't tested on the 3 or OG Pixel... just Galaxy S8/S9's
The LTE radio seems to perform really good in the Pixel though IMO

VoLTE should hit the Pixel 3 soon. So that's something.
Something for sure... That would fix the issue

My Pixel 3XL Activated fine a few weeks ago. Although the 1x radio in the phone isn't very strong. I've seen the LTE performance be ok... Wish the 1x performed better. I will probably switch to the S10 when it comes out if a software update doesn't fix the 1x reception issue.

I've had a ticket open for days. My MagicBox is still holding on to an unusable B41 signal since the firmware upgrade. It's been four days since I opened the ticket and now I just escalated it.

My MagicBox is now having the same issue. It is not useable at all when it was decent before

My phone app didn't update just the profile.
It doesn't do it automatically you need to go to your Galaxy Apps or do an about on phone to get the update there.

I wonder what it was? The August security update is already out so it had to be something else.

I noticed a few things... after the update it forced a profile update. There also was an update to the Samsung Phone application. I think it is prepping for VoLTE for sure.

They are doing some work out here in Pinckney... They added 800MHz panels to the main tower by my house and they should be activating it soon. I'm planning on switching my main lines back to Sprint once it happens.

They will be most likely updating the PRL to roam on T-Mobile LTE first instead of US Cellular or AT&T for LTE. They will probably need to keep Verizon for 1xRTT roaming. Regardless we will need a new PRL so once we see that let the testing begin :)

Mine did the same... wonder if they combined the corporate and personal PRLsWeird my phone was saying 56066, updated the prl and now it's showing 55067.

It's weird I tried disabling roaming and there is for sure no 1x Sprint around...Great to hear about the improved coverage.
The Sprint LTE/VZW 1x is interesting though. Maybe Tim or someone with more knowledge might be able to shed some light as to what’s happening there...

I'm up north this weekend and noticed tons of improvement 75 had coverage the whole way. Interesting at Boyne Mountain I have full Sprint LTE with Verizon 1x roaming. Maybe they don't care with VoLTE coming?

Do you think Sprint will Sprint ahead once they turn on 4x4 mimo & 256qam?
256QAM made a huge difference in speed for T-Mobile when they activated it. I believe the same will occur for Sprint if they can implement. We have a commitment of early next year. I hope Sprint meets this... It will be awesome. I know it doesn't make much of a difference with Band41 (it will for Band 26 and 25). It will make some (more) difference even on 41 with a HPUE device.

Hi. How Can I get ahold of an Airave 3 LTE for prepaid accounts. The Airave 3 LTE is really needed at my location. Thank you.It is not available. You would need to go to postpaid to get one.

There are lots of NAT bugs with your router. I'd try searching for a NAT timeout option or disable NAT acceleration.

Still no improvement for my airave. It keeps cycling on both sides. At most I get around 10 minutes where everything is green and fine, then it cycles. After a long while, the net and lte lights will go solid red on the data side, and the wan on the CDMA side will go solid red. Then after some more time, it will cycle again, rinse, and repeat. I'm at a loss as to how to get this thing working. Putting it in front of my router is not an option, due to the placement of my router. I do have a sprint airave tech calling tomorrow, but I'm not hopeful that this thing will work.

Can you tell me a little about your network? I have a feeling something is dropping the VPN tunnel to Sprint.

Is the CDMA side of the LTE 3 supposed to have 1- or 2-way hadoffs to the macro sites? Just like the old Airaves, for me it seems to drop calls when you come into or walk away from it.
It has one way handoff from the Airave to the Macro network but not the other way around. Actually for me when I come in to Airave coverage from macro coverage it drops the call.

Next update is supposed to be a Google Maps based map...

So what are everyones thoughts about the Sprint VoIP patent lawsuits targeted at cable... I think the reason for the lawsuits is backhaul. If they can have a settlement on the patent infringement they can gain backhaul with what is owed to them. I think that might be the play there. I see they are going after Charter and Mediacom.

I did additional testing on the 3XL's 1xRTT reception issues vs. a Galaxy S8 Plus. The S8 has about 8-10db better reception on 1xRTT. I think that is totally crazy...
