Phone now upgraded. TM still claims update 'not ready.' Samsung said I needed to go to a Samsung Authorized Repair Facility. In San Diego County those are only a few and all in Best Buy stores (in the coastal strip}. Once there, they fixed it in only a few swipes. Took the whole drive back into the East County before it was done- but felt good when at home and up to date!

I bought it direct from Samsung.

December 18th and still no Android 14 here... Just where are you folk getting it? My phone claims it is up to date with 13!

I gave this ten days, however while some dozens have viewed question no one has ventured any response. So I'm going small and buying a Tab S8+ 5g LTE T-Mobile model. Several days ago I checked out Samsung Direct and they were selling that model for $1100 and even returning my S7 FE I only would get $185 credit, net $915 cost. However just yesterday Samsung pulled all their S8+ 5g LTE tablet options so only the S9+ 5g LTE 'non' TMobile tablets are available. Bummer! Well, Amazon to the rescue! A highly rated seller has NEW S8+ yadda yadda T-Mobile tablets. And for hundreds less than Samsung. Should be getting mine tomorrow- knock on wood. So, topic closed I guess... UNLESS someone comes up with answer for other inquiring minds.

The 5g versions currently are only available on Verizon, AT&T, and US Cellular. Anyone heard any rumors if/when T-Moble will join the scrum? If not, is it possible to get an approved version and unlock the device- connect it to T-Moble network AND have it work? Of course, part of that is- would T-Mobile accept such a transfer?

Except that selection doesn't seem to exist anymore. Where should we look for information regarding the integration of our network into our new overlords network? I have read that older phones such as my Note 9 will have to be discarded as it doesn't get the right frequencies... Is this true? Oh- and please-- this is not in disrespect-- is the site name going to change as "Sprint" ceases to exist? I hope it doesn't.

How do I get rid of it- it keeps coming up every time I block a call. And tells me that I must pay $2.99 extra per month for it! I don't want it. Help articles say don't answer phone if you don't know who it is. Those who really need me will leave a message. Since implementing that policy I have gotten far fewer spam/con artist calls on my voicemail. So is there any way to get it to stop dinging me for that extra $2.99 every time I block a message or direct to voicmail audio??? Which raises another question-- how do these idiots drop messages directly into my voicemail without ever calling me first? Makes it harder to eliminate and block.

Got my June update, but where is the camera Night Mode? When I scroll left on the camera settings it ends with Professional- shouldn't the new night mode be left of that? Google-9-to-5, The Verge & many others say Night Mode was enabled with the June update... Is this Sprint? Or something my end?

BlueAngel-- Yippee! Worked & since didn't need/want app in first place, have left it uninstalled. Thanks. Dummy me should have thought of that myself.

Anyone with a N9+ after updating to Pie have one of the Samsung Apps stuck in upgrade? Everything else works fine, but the Samsung Health app has shown "updating..." ever since! Restart didn't change things- don't know what else to try.

Can the unlocked 512GB version be used on the Sprint network?

The Sprint Family Locator (SFL) has been very useful for piece of mind with my kids. The new application seems to not have features such as "My Places" that I had on SFL. Do any of you know if such exist in Safe & Found? If so, is there any way to import the "My Places" from SFL into Safe & Found?

Galaxyguy- Ok, it's now 12 hours since I fully charged my phone. It shows 74% full-- I have been texting on sms and Messenger all day, but with lighter than usual web access. But still, that is pretty darn good compared to my Note 4 and more than twice as good as when I was on Call Plus. I know, I know. Too small a sample size- that will come with time. But decent anecdotal information for the time being.

burnout8488- Probably about 30 minutes a day. I mostly text and web browse with it. Galaxyguy- I didn't add any other apps at that same time... Of course, Samsung has installed a number of apps around then and in the last week that I have no use for- I'll watch to see if indeed my battery rebounds or continues to suck.

I installed the Call Plus on my Gal S8+ early last week and found within a few days that my battery just didn't last even a half day! I've been used to it lasting the full day with moderate use and almost two days with low use. So, given that I had battery issues back with my Note 4 when I kept the WiFi on all the time, I turned off the WiFi portion of Call Plus and suddenly I've got more out of my battery. Makes sense. But still being frustrated by not having a full day of usage yesterday I've turned off that feature entirely. I like the idea, but am unwilling to take the hit too my usage. The calls were clear, but certainly not worth the hassle.
