I don't know specific numbers, but I know T has 12, 66, and 71 here. Never been a Sprint signal. It's nice because I was wondering how to survive another week without a voice signal (Verizon doesn't have 1x deployed here). What is the BW there?

I can confirm that. Out here in the wilds of Montana.VoLTE seems to be live while roaming on T-mobile.

I have a question, if I am on the extended LTE network (so the one treated as unlimited coverage), am I still allowed use of my mobile hotspot? I am in NexTech territory for a week and was curious is that was allowed.

This might already have been done. [/url] The screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/W6wxVTd
That explains some interesting signalcheck logs I've gotten here in Kansas. I initially thought it was a mistake (Nextech has B25 here) but now seeing that I'm not so sure. Nextech shows up as Sprint or Roam B25. This clearly marked T-Mobile B25

I didn't see that volte had become an option with the Android 10 update. it's been off, so that isn't the issue.Do you have VoLTE turned on? VoLTE being on and connected to a supported eNB causes the phone to drop the CDMA connection, so it will only display LTE.

That makes sense because I'm no longer seeing 1x data on my Note 9 since the Android 10 update. It is a problem with the Samsung Android 10 update. They broke a lot of things behind the scenes.. I have some workarounds in testing now. Sending you a PM momentarily.

I do feel like a lot of the actions being done after the approval are in response to the lawsuit. I just don't see what case or standing the states have, especially if the final consent decree has some form of monitoring to guarantee Dish can develop into a real carrier (which is something the states have said they don't trust). If all else fails, interstate commerce grounds should allow this to be approved over State objections. The FCC and DOJ are currently plotting to counterattack the state AGs lawsuit. FCC may issue unusual ruling supporting the merger that explicitly states that there are no anti-trust issues. Some have called this a form of undermining the states
A statement like that is aimed for an audience of one. The judge that is

I haven't been able to find any 1x800 at all. It's all 1xRTT voice/evdo roaming on "North Dakota PCS Alliance" aka Verizon out here.Ah. Those logs would be interesting to see.I forgot to ask, was 1x800 live. You indicated you were roaming for voice so I'm guessing not?

I did not map it. All I'll have from the journey is signal check logs.Any chance you were able to map them on Cellmapper or something similar?

My phone (Note 9) is not Volte enabled yet. I use wifi calling for all my calling needs to avoid the voice roaming issue.Wonder if that has volte on it?

The only ones I can guarantee I hit B26 where in Shelby and Glasgow, as I stopped and checked my phone in those towns. I believe I found some in Havre and Malta too, but I since I was passing through, I couldn't pay too much attention. They where close to unusably slow data, but I was authenticated to them and able to use the signals.Could you elaborate on your findings along 2 in Montana? This is news to me.

Should I still treat it like roaming coverage? Especially since my phone still thinks it's roaming. I would hate to accidentally hit my 100mb limit.$$$,$$$.
Same reason why T-mobile and Vzw and ATT throws up low band only sites in rural areas.
Optimize sites for coverage and then go back and add mid band and high band if there's demand.

I wonder what's the point of putting up a B26 only site up. If you're going to the expense of setting up a new site, why not do a full triband setup? To note, I suspect there are similar setups on the town's along Highway 2 through Montana, as I found B26 in some of those towns too last weekend.Yep. Just a single C2A to a 2 port antenna. A super rare find!

So here is the mysterious Sprint B26 site in Williston, ND. I can only pick up on B26. So I suspect that's all that's broadcasting. It seems odd Sprint would just put up a 3x3 B26 site only.

I found the site on the NE side of town(I'll try to get photos later). No sign of 25 or 41 or any signs of 1x800. All my CDMA is on North Dakota PCS Alliance (aka Verizon).Post pictures. Triangulate by getting three sectors. Switch phone to CDMA may also help if 1x800 is active, which might give the GPS for the actual site.

So we appear to have reached the horse trading stage. 2 things come to mind, first that T&S are basically going to give up whatever the government wants to make this merger happen. Secondly if we're at this stage approval is probably happening, unless the FCC requests something onerous.

Interestingly enough, i can only seem to find B26 up here in Williston, I have not found any 25 or 41, no matter where in town I go. I have a suspicion what tower it's on, but not for sure.

I believe I was North of the site. I did not get any signal until I got into the north side of town. I just was surprised to see B26 where no Sprint activity has been mentioned at all. I'm not sure whether to treat it as a native signal yet. I'll see if I can find B25 as well. The GCI matches Sprint for that area. -99 RSRP on B26 could be many miles away. Your almost in Montana, but it's market GCI is 094. US 2 is the major east-west highway in those parts. See any others? The Cellular One Montana site did not go that far east. You were likely north of the site. 3x3 B26 can still be respectable speed wise, Max 21.4 Mbps.

Yeah, but this is in roaming territory and definitely not on their coverage map.
Yeah, near the borders some of their B26 channels might be 3 MHz.

Am I seeing this right? Sprint is broadcasting a 3x3 B26 here in Williston, ND? To note, the 1x is what Verizon broadcasts as out here.

So if CPUC denies it, but the feds approve it, does it matter that California denied it?

I have an unlocked Note 9 on Oreo and it LTE roams fine. So it might just be a Pixel issue. Or Pie.Seems to be an "Oreo" issue or "non-Sprint branded phone" issue (Nexus 5, 5x, 6, 6P, Pixel 1, 2, 3).
Be interesting if anyone with any of these phones can successfully 'LTE Data Roam' on USCC now...

29 minutes ago, though said:
Just found this link.
See my post from 2 months ago not being able to roam in US Cellular territory with either of my Pixel 2 XL's. This area has been rock solid previously.
Since I'm still on Oreo with my unlocked Note 9, I can't really say if it's a Pixel 2 issue or a Pie issue unfortunately.

So with T Mobile taking over, what happens to our extended roaming? Especially uscc coverage.
