  1. Never understood how updating "profile" and "PRL" works. Every single time you click to manually update the two, it always says "updated" or "upgraded." Is that just the default response? How could it be "upgraded" that many times if there's new PRL to upgrade to?
  2. Do you know if a Sprint LG G2 would work? I dont think those have any SIMs.
  3. I am a little confused. I have an old Sprint LG G2 (US model). I do not think those came with SIMs. Would I be able to use this service?
  4. I remember reading an article several years (maybe on Gizmodo) ago where there was a study done and it confirmed that black phones made the screen appear larger because of a masking effect on the bezel (I suppose it's because a black bezel would "blend" into the black screen, creating a false image of largeness). Now that the the G2 essentially has no bezel, I think I'm going to try out a white phone for the first time!
  5. agreed, but how are you going to validate the the screen protector won't raise up when you insert the phone into the case? trial and error?
  6. I bought an xtremeguard (wet application) screen protector, so I'm not concerned about scratching the phone when it's face down, but that call into question if the screen protector will get lifted up when I insert it into the case (like my current 4S Incipio feather/BSE screen protector). I used an Otterbox for about a month, but I couldn't get over how fat it made the entire device. The ballistic (and Spigen) case seem to be a lot thinner, but I'm worried about the screen protector lift, and drop protection (the Incipio Feather case has successfully protected my 4S from 4 significant drops).
  7. Do you think your case is going to be super thick? I was thinking about getting this one: http://www.amazon.com/SPIGEN-Protective-Sprint-T-Mobile-International/dp/B00ELMXYAG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381617485&sr=8-1&keywords=spigen+lg+g2
  8. I'll have to check out that app. I'm on spotty 3G with my 4S so internet radio usually isn't a possibility for me. That and some of my the more popular local channels don't permit streaming. If only AM was available so I could listen to sports and the news!
  9. Great thanks! Also, do you know if FM radio is confirmed for Sprint's G2?
  10. Thanks! How do I know which band I'm connected to without having to go back to that menu page and see what I'm connected to? How do you know if your band is congested? Slow data speeds? I probably wouldn't notice slow LTE... I'm on 3g with the 4S. Can't wait to get rid of it!
  11. Can you explain why Band Priority is a good thing and/or how I'd use it in the real world?
  12. Ah, that might be out of my reach. This would be my first Android phone (Windows Mobile to iPhone) and while I was able to use different ROMs and stuff with my WinMo devices, it's been quite some time since I've tinkered around that much. Do you happen to know if there's an FM radio on the G2 for Sprint?
  13. Does that mean you lose the knock-on feature if you go stock android?
  14. Thanks! Looks like there's no point in waiting (and I don't want to pick up a phone that's older than the newly released models to have simultaneous data/voice features)!
