  1. Didnt T-Mobile just acquire the rest of Iowa wireless? Probably just going to use, and upgrade their own towers there now. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  2. Could try Package Disabler Pro to disable those apps. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  3. Not sure if this is for all carriers, or just T-Mobile, but after August 1, Costco is doing away with EIP, and will start selling phones at a heavily discounted below retail price. Downside for some is you will have to pay full price for the phone. It will be interesting to see what price Costco sells the Note 8 at. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah the price is getting ridiculous, $1200 for the Note 8. If it is that much they'll probably get alot less preorders for it than the Note 7 had. I personally will wait for a Black Friday sale, or something similar. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  5. I was thinking about getting the Sony A1E for my bedroom, after seeing it at the CES show this year. I still have a old Panasonic Plasma 1080p tv. That my wife says is perfectly fine, and shoots me down every time I mention getting a new tv. I keep praying for the tv to fall of the wall, but it never does. On a side note I saw a few 8k tv's at the show too. They were playing 1080, 4k, and 8k native content, all I can say is wow, the picture was phenomenal, couldn't believe how much sharper, and more detail there was. I was all for a getting a 4k tv, though now, in the back of my head I'm wondering if 8k tv's will be coming out soon enough for the masses. Also looks like Sharp will start producing oled tv panels next year, giving competition to LG. Hopefully, some new innovations come out, and cause a nice price drop on oled tvs. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk

  7. Flew back Saturday afternoon from Las Vegas tsa was not confiscating them at the airport. I returned my Note 7 on Saturday because of what they were saying on the news, almost missed my flight in the process. I get to the airport the tsa doesn't even know, or mention anything about the Note 7. Right before the flight the gate agents made an announcement stating that if you have a Note 7 that you need to check it into you luggage. The two and a half hours I spent returning the phone was a total waste of time. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  8. Flew Southwest the other day didn't mention anything about the Note 7. Me and a family member were watching movies on ours. Sent from my SM-N930T using Tapatalk
  9. I keep hearing couple weeks, but no one really knows. Also I think there have been two, or three reported Note 7 exploding in the US so far. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  10. This guy did a quick review of 20+ Note 7 cases. There are 3 videos so far, below is a link to the first video. I went with the Myrium carbon fiber one. I wanted a ultra thin case to just protect the back from scratching without feeling I had a case on. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Sent from my SM-N930T using Tapatalk
  11. Exactly that's why he didn't understand why they had set up one in the middle of nowhere in the mountainous woods. Where there are congested cities that actually needed it still don't have it. I don't remember all the details it was one those nights at a bar. I think he did say it was the number crunchers that are making the decisions here. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  12. Have a family friend that works for Ericson, who says the same thing. Doesn't understand why the have a B41 site in wooded area in the middle of nowhere, with hardly any population around in Massachusetts Sprint has B41 site. With areas within CT where they really need B41 to help with congestion they don't add it. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  13. I read a free reports from people that if you used smart switch to move data over from your old phone that it might be the reason for signal issues, including wifi. Only way to fix it is to do a factory reset, and don't use Smart switch. After the factory reset people have stated they see an improvement. Just use Samsung cloud to restore your data. I'm seeing issues also with my Note 7, where I'm on Wi-Fi, and then disconnect I show a good signal but have no data. Sometimes airplane mode fixes, other times a restart is needed. There's also times where I see a discrepancy between my Note 4, and Note 7 signal wise to. I would do a hard reset but i have a replacement phone in its way for another issue. With the new i will not use Samsung's Smartswitch app. Sent from my SM-N930T using Tapatalk
  14. Just did a network search on the T-Mobile version looks like it has Sprint LTE bands on it. Sent from my SM-N930T using Tapatalk
