  1. It works spotty for me, works when I call my apartment complex, but not when they call me. Haven't seen it work any other time.
  2. Thanks for the heads up on this. I just assumed it was 4.4.1 since I didn't have any issues.
  3. Have you updated to 4.4.2? I initially thought it was OK, but after driving around town, they really messed the modem up. I'm going to flash back to the 4.4 modem as soon as I can root over Christmas break.... I can't believe this post didn't get more lols
  4. Try uninstalling the updates and reinstalling? This is just a shot in the dark.
  5. What was the signal strength in dBm? I think the threshold is about -115 to -117 dBm before it starts looking to 3G. My phone still shows 3 bars at -112dBm.
  6. Did the 4.4.2 update last night. Signal strength according to SignalCheck app is about 8-10dBm lower than before, HOWEVER, I have been able to hold LTE in all places that I was able to before. This leads me to believe that if you're having problems holding LTE with the new update, its more of a market saturation issue, building you're in issue etc.... Just my $.02.
  7. That is what I thought, I just don't want to go through the hassle of doing it. Sounds like unlock bootloader and root is the way to go. Just don't want to lose all my stuffs.
  8. Can a different modem be loaded with ODIN?
  9. Amazing maps available if you donate and support the site!
  10. Same, I remember when I bought my GSIII thinking it was the best device I have ever owned...The Nexus 5 its...its just so fast!
  11. The lenses have been around for a while, I think they just did it to make their product appeal to that niche. But who knows.
