I just checked the field test screen on my iPhone 6 plus and I'm connected to band 41 here in Willoughby Hills. Did a speed test and got 44 down and 13 up. Not bad

I could be wrong but I believe youe S4 supports 3G 800. I know my iPhone 5 does but it only supports 1900mhz LTE.

Agreed, the density of cell sites downtown along with even lowered strength should still give everyone great cell reception on the 800 band.

Probably because ther is still not a lot of sites that have active LTE in Cleveland proper yet. Just a guess.

Did you try a profile update? Also try clearing your cache and restart the phone. This might fix your issue.

They probably will be lighting up you area sooner than later but who knows. I live in mentor and I don't see it happening before summer some time. They are creeping in from the east and they're suppose to start upgrades on the first tower in mentor sometime this spring. Hopefully as the weather gets better things will pick up a little.

After searching the site permits for Lake and Cuyahoga counties I have found that there quite a few sites that they havent even been issued permits to upgrade yet. i think the eastside will most likely be a while longer than the rest of NE Ohio but I hope I'm wrong.

A lot of the towers in eastern lake county have had work on them.

I had the same thing at my house. It lasted about three weeks. They were doing the upgrades to the tower. About 2 months later it went live with LTE so that may be what is happening with that particular tower. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There is a lot of work being done all over NE Ohio. It's coming. Most likely in bunches. My understanding is that they will be activated in clusters of roughly 12 to 20. But who knows. Could be wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well It would help if you have an 800 voice capable phone like a 5 or 5s. I don't think a 4s is capable. It will be better I know that for a fact. I live near an LTE active tower which is not on the NV complete map. Before the upgrade I would get three bars for voice and now it's five. I haven't checked to see if it's 800 but I'm sure it is.
