Yes it’s good to be back. I’ve been on this website for nearly 7 years. And Sprint will live on through their spectrum.- 1,714 replies

One can always hope of course. You never know it could happen.

Volte will be the back bone for phone calls and basic Data coverage for the foreseeable future. And 5G will be for now at least super fast coverage where it's available. So I don't see really any need for voice and data to be on 5G anytime soon.

Official Tmobile-Sprint merger discussion thread

The town I live in in a different state there was a flagpole site T-Mobile came in and modified the flagpole site and it works very well now has all the proper bands as well. -
That's very good. I'm glad to see T-Mobile building out there coverage. I have T-Mobile they have tremendously improved their LTE coverage in my area along with fringe coverage performance. Hope to see more improvements.

Are they doing a native LTE build out?

The key word is essentially. That's the word they have on there. I haven't posted on this website in probably 6 years. Anyways I'm pretty sure they have some exemptions to the no deprioritization they advertise on their plan. I'm pretty sure they're going to have Network management being in effect to some extent. -
Your welcome

No that's on the network side...

It's been a long time since I've posted here. In my market I think T-Mobile will definitely deactivate sprints Network very quickly because of the capacity constraints here. I think they want to get that band 41 spectrum up and running very quickly. In my market 600 megahertz is pretty much done being deployed.

N T-Mobile is pretty tight lipped on network details -
Thank you for saying that. Even though I was complaining here and there about their service. When I got out into the areas where they really did have service it was pretty good. I'm going to miss diving down into the MSL menus and turning off all sorts of carrier aggregation and bands just to mess with the phone.

By the way this is meant to be a tribute for Sprint. There's already a T-Mobile Sprint merger page. This is just a tribute page for Sprint for all the years of service they had. Even though the service wasn't really good here they were the first company I had a cell phone with and I love them for that. Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk

Everywhere in a lot of places Sprint's network will be redundant and in many places sprints 5G Network will be shut down sooner than later. And then CDMA will be decommissioned. T-Mobile won't be keeping two networks running with two different technologies that would be a waste of money and synergies. The reason why this merger took place in the first place is that Sprint as a company was unfortunately floundering and T-Mobile was able to purchase the company and merge with them. They get a huge boost and customers and spectrum. T-Mobile isn't going to be using band 26 because it doesn't want it. Band 25 and band 41 will be used by T-Mobile. Band 25 and band 41 will be used by T-Mobile. They are not going to show off the mid and high band spectrum they have.T-Mobile's going to have a huge amount of band 41 for capacity. Besides they all need band 26. They have a good amount of band 71 for a coverage. Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk

I m talking about sprints native network being shutdown
-
I thought it would be a fitting tribute to Sprint to establish a network shutdown page where people can report Sprint network service winding down. As much as I dislike them because of their inconsistent service here for the most part I loved them.

I'm going to miss the. From 2008 to 2010. Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk

That's true very true. Everyone's opinion will obviously be different. But I'll take your word for it as well. Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk

Even though Sprint doesn't have the best coverage in my area. I do have lots of memories and nostalgia with the company. I wonder who else here will miss Sprint besides me?
