  1. Wow, wishful thinking on my part paid off :-). No luck on the update here yet either. Surprisingly enough, both of the old M7's in our house updated without a hitch yesterday.
  2. Yep, saw the leaked shot from Android Central with Lollipop release dates for Sprint phones. In the meantime, I can play with it on the M7 and find the differences.
  3. I'm with you Payne. I expected the M8 to get it first. I updated my old M7 and told my wife to roll hers up to 5.0 today. We could get lucky and have it pulled forward, but that seems unlikely.
  4. Got the update and still running Dalvik. Are there any apps still having issues running ART, or have they sorted most of the issues out? If you do decide to switch to ART, has anyone run into problems?
  5. Not sure. Anyone out there get it yet?
  6. Or just let people manually use the function on their phones to pull the OTA update, and push it after a certain date...No need to reinvent the wheel.
  7. Still no update, just a changelog that appears to be posted early. Let's hope we see this update soon, and with some fixes for other misc. issues.
  8. Looks like some update posted today, but no details on what is changed: http://support.sprint.com/support/article/Find_and_update_the_software_version_on_your_HTC_One_M8/WServiceAdvisory_542_GKB69195
  9. I See Verizon already got the 4.4.4/Eye update. I'm shocked Sprint didn't have the update first, as they've been on the ball with the M8 since launch.
  10. Europe is finally getting 4.4.4 with the new Eye experience revealed in the RE camera event. I wonder how long it'll take to make it stateside, and what else it'll fix. I'd like to see them fix the flickering status bar icon, and figure out a way to free up some real estate along the top.
  11. Yes. Both phones built at different times about a year apart. Here's the ongoing thread from Sprint: https://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/167420
  12. I'm surprised no one in here has mentioned the issue with the Smith - expired! message that appears on power-up. My wife and sister have One's and both display it on power up. If you don't disable it, then incoming calls/texts do not go through. Sprint still seems clueless on a fix, and it's been happening since the end of July, per their website.
  13. Yes, I had an Exchange account for work email, but I since deleted the account sync. I had it before the update, and it had never prompted me to add a lock screen. I also did not have my SD encrypted, as I did not have one installed in the phone. Is there a way to clear the settings out from the Exchange account, or verify they were removed when the account was removed.
  14. Can someone please offer up a suggestion on how to remove the SD encryption, or why I can't disable it and turn my lock screen off?!? It's like I'm not an administrator of my phone any more...
