  1. http://www.technobuffalo.com/2014/05/12/t-mobile-expected-to-receive-1b-if-sprint-buyout-falls-through/ Wrong forum I assume but... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  2. Thought Apple acknowledged this issue. And apple typically gives a refurbished item.... but never have had a problem with that. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  3. I suspect your view points and logic, don't really differ from mine. Maybe a few points don't line up but the bigger pictures match. It's possible I'm wrong though. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  4. I'll refrain from answering or responding.... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  5. - I'm posting still as I tried to convey that I still like Sprint in total. - I also never bashed this new throttling endeavor. If anything I think they need to be more aggressive on this. My example is on the world famous Autobahn, has no limits to speed. But if you are driving like an ass you'll get pulled over. Same should be expected on Sprint's network... Cheers. 6. I agree, in that the 40+ down I see with my current carrier is useful at all. I do enjoy a consistent user experience in that when playing a podcast or music while driving that it keeps playing. Whereas every few miles, previously it would pause or switch to roam and never switch back unless I toggled airplane mode. Per sprint my town is complete and 3g service is upgraded on the rest of my commute. In areas where my current carrier dropped the ball on lte it's only going to offer evdo - I was upset after finding that out, but zero streaming issues so I couldn't care less. In fact in places where I experienced working sprint evdo updates, sprint rocked and was amazing. Better than the horrid unstable lte they provide where I use it the most. If sprint can actually achieve its goals in my area I'd come back to them in a heartbeat. As I really like Sprint and what SB has the potential to do. But currently I need my $160 to be working for me to pay it. That said I'd go tmo, if they light up their lte towers in my area as currently they are only on 2g. Hopefully this post isn't taken out of context. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  7. I elected to give my money to Verizon Wireless, for the time being. They provide best in class data speeds in my area, easy upgrades with edge program, price is fair IMHO. I respect your decision and choice. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  8. Great post! The misinformation or lies about no problems in my area. Or we will submit a ticket in your area - month after month gets old. Especially after NV is complete in your area.... that's what erked me the most. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  9. No I understand the concept and agree. But the points that are being here make it seem that this new policy will allow the 95% to see improved data connections to what Sprint advertises? I don't see it. In all seriousness, sprint needs to copy tmo, in offering "simple" data caps while including a higher priced unlimited plan. I mean framly plans do already but not very well known. This I think would lower people's bills if it fits yet still leaves the door open to unlimited for those that need it. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  10. So if I had a framly plan with the 3gb cap, I'd see fast lte service up to 3gb, rather than the sub 1mb speeds on lte unlimited? And when driving I'd have a reliable data connection? Just seeing if I understand.... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  11. I uploaded maybe 2 - 3gb of videos to YouTube in the last several days, one upload was 1.3gb its self. Took maybe 15 minutes maybe.... I was shocked actually and had zero issues downloading while on vacation at Walt Disney world. In a crowded park I was seeing 20-30mb down when I used a speed test a few times. So I'd have to say either data buckets is the way to go and or vzw knows how to manage it's technology (I do know they have both 700mhz and AWS deployed also no issues in updating it's network) Granted vzw isn't the best in all places. Many towns near where I live are on evdo still and vzw said they have no plans to convert to lte till 2016. But I can stream music, podcasts and YouTube with no issues so I don't care. Just pointing out my own observations. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  12. Odd thing is on sprint I used between 8 - 12gb per month. On vzw I have used about 4-6gb and I haven't changed my usage . I mostly stream podcasts and it seems that the poor data connection I had with sprint would keep the podcasts restreaming which wasted data. I would have downloaded more but a 20-80mb podcast took way too long. Just my observation in my area based on my use. The 10gb plan I'm on isn't much more money and I can switch phones with no hassle with EDGE plan. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  13. Oh and John takes control of the US market to run as needed and Dan heads up Europe. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  14. I have not been as active here of late, so this might have already been proposed. But what if Son buys Vodafone, merges tmo and sprint; then brands all of his phone companies to Vodafone? (And I suspect as others recently said, sells most of the tower's leases to dish...) OK flame away I can handle it :-) Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  15. I assume that the European Union hasn't forgotten about AT&T being a conduit " alleged" to the NSA Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  16. Yeah I agree - just curious I suppose... Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  17. Just a crazy off the wall comment... If he goes for Vodafone - I'd suspect that he will sell sprint. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  18. that is cool... I'll hold enthusiasm till I can hold a steady lte service (where I use my device). Thanks though as that is very encouraging!! John Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I hope real change is happening this time... :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I hope he runs the show - he seems to get stuff done. Something I think Mr Sun respects. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

  22. Wow - SoftBank is cleaning house. CEO stepping down http://abcnews.go.com/Business/story?id=3705444 Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  23. Is it april 1st yet? http://m.us.wsj.com/articles/BL-268B-164 Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  24. I am most likely wrong. But i feel softbank needs tmo or rather the subscriber count not only to buy phones for less. But to also show dominance which attracts new large company accounts and provides clout. All of which makes a price war possible for the long hall. As i assume softbank can make more money if its margins are smaller but has 20 million more people chipping in. And in reverse for att and vzw ~ the more people that leave helps to fragment their margins. Obviously this is just a high level look. Oh and id just say Son was talking out his ass. But he has a very decent track record. And i think he is a cylon and well we all know they have a plan! Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  25. This conference is very cool. Notice who has been added. Very nice. http://recode.net/2014/03/14/softbanks-masa-son-added-to-code-conference-roster/ Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
