  1. Were contracts ever really removed? Just moved from the phone service and added as a device finance charge wth 24 months to pay. But it did lessen the cost of phone service! So that’s good! Above doesnt look too bad - half of the price of the phone Paid upfront with no monthly fees
  2. the Verge article sort of backs up what many here have voiced as concern for a very long time now! Yet the ruling class still rebukes it - interesting. I will say The Verge article isn't exactly well written nor researched to be the proverbial smoking gun! Rather it has some hints of being comminshed by Sprint, T-Mobile or Softbank... honestly that is fine too as long as T-Mobile is allowed to buy Sprint and finally put that spectrum to good use! Especially if TMO can build out 2.5 as fast as they did with 600! We all win!
  3. Imho the magic box is beyond stupid.... Just let Neville fix this and it’ll be amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I thought Sprint has 240mhz Any event I say this is brilliant, and assume this is a nice way to keep the spectrum in the family vs selling to ATT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Interesting as I don’t see how volte could be used currently... oh and welcome to the past ha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. More movement from TMO https://www.t-mobile.com/news/t-mobile-wlny-repack
  7. And yet TMO with that smaller amount of spectrum will be a couple years ahead of where Sprint will be. Can't wait to see what Neville and his team can do with the jackpot of 2.5ghz Sprint has. Sent from my XT1635-02 using Tapatalk
  8. Better be sitting... Mediatek. Yup Sent from my XT1635-02 using Tapatalk
  9. I recall some regular posters here, I think even Robert too. Mentioned TMO and Neville wouldn't be able to get 600mhz up too quickly. Seems Neville has basically brought up a new infrastructure in less than 16 months. Sent from my XT1635-02 using Tapatalk
  10. Correct -- but thats Sprint... I believe TMO was planning on Nokia for 5G
  11. My towns have appeared to regress... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I agree. But flipside I actually like the all in plans or save you money plan. I’d imagine it’s easier for the salesperson and shopper. But I do like how VZW mix and match works (though you don’t really save much) Idk [emoji52] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Though to be honest Sprint is competing with ATT more with these plans. By including Hulu and tidal. Granted not as good to some as what ATT is including. But it’s something. Where as I don’t believe Verizon gives you any bonus media streams at all. Good job Sprint Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. If taxes and fees included I'd switch. But I highly doubt it. These prices are close to Vzw prices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yup... Most stuff we knew but didn't want to believe - well some didn't... Any info on when they expect to to close the deal? I assume regulatory concerns are minimal... or back room deals already done. It'll be a good day. Sent from my XT1635-02 using Tapatalk
  16. Basically the two companies pitched that with out a merge they would both fail. https://www.cato.org/publications/techknowledge/lesson-xmsirius-merger Sent from my XT1635-02 using Tapatalk
  17. I suspect (might have already been talked to death here looking). But I suspect SoftBank is reading the Sirrus and XM playbooks front to back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The fact that it seems Neville (as much as folks here loved to slam him) gets stuff done and delivered. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. To add... Plus it seems like no matter how far Sprint comes. It always appears - next 12-18 months it'll be addressed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Especially if what I'm seeing is occurring in more areas too. I've been seeing 3g as much as during the Vision roll out. It's bad... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Sadly I jinxed myself I think. Ten minutes after sending that post. My X was on 3g :-( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I highly doubt the new iPhone support will include either HPUE nor 600mhz. Though the latter is a higher probability. I’m doubtful T-Mobile has enough users to warrant it back last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Not much time yet on carrier 32.5.38 (public iOS 12) But LTE performance appears stronger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
