  1. Anyone still has a CDMA device to check if network is truly off?
  2. I am using Starry for my home internet. I hope it doesn't collapse and make me go to cable.
  3. So, this is like LTE_A but for NR?
  4. Interesting, so 5G module still allows AT+EGMR command. Where could I found them? I only find RM500Q on eBay. I assumed Q means Qualcomm not mediatek.
  5. I just hoping holding out on Unlimited Kickstarter on Sprint will allow me to grandfathered in.
  6. Wondering if there are some Sprint device not capable of AT&T roaming?
  7. No, Exynos is modem too. Samsung Galaxy has Qualcomm version and Exynos version. Just like iPhone has Intel version
  8. No, Exynos is modem too. Samsung Galaxy has Qualcomm version and Exynos version. Just like iPhone has Intel version.
  9. Samsung has Exynos chips. They don't dare to use them in US market for fear of retaliation. They use their own chip in European market.
  10. Samsung could follow Apple's lead and ditch Qualcomm
  11. You need to get another router. There just no other way. Your ISP probably have a limited number of IP to hand out. When A4 grab all of them, the other devices breaks.
  12. The A4 has 2 MAC address. One for CDMA and one for LTE. I know this because I use it in my office network. All the MAC address has to be whitelisted. The MAC address on the label is only one of it. The other MAC address is either 1 up or 1 down. I don't remember. So for Airave 4 to work, your modem need to be able to provide 2 IP address to A4. If you plug it directly into a cable modem, it is very likely your ISP doesn't want to supply 2 IP address. So, try to put a router in front of it.
  13. I'd love to see Apple creates a competitive alternative to Qualcomm.
  14. If the merger go through, they probably required to maintain CDMA for a while (1x voice) to support roaming from regional carrier.
  15. So, what exactly is 5G New Radio. I saw a YouTube video that Nokia demonstrated 3CA + 64T64R. Is that what's in the NR? Seems like just one step up from current 3CA + 8T8R
  16. I think previous Airave. (From Airave 2 age), Calls started at Airave could transfer to Macro site. I don't think Airave 4 could transfer call back to Macro site.
  17. I feel like Airave 4's CDMA voice quality is much better than when my phone is parked on Macro Cell
  18. @lilotimz Chat support told me "According to the address provided[,] the lte network is not being provided to the airave 4" It looks like Airave 4's LTE functionality is tied to Magicbox.
