I read it.....Wish it had SVDO. Why does the LG Viper have this and not the new EVO? Still gonna get one...

 

LG is really coming out with some solid phone features lately. The first phone with 2GB of RAM in the LG Optimus LTE2, then SVDO on the Viper.....

I guess one way to look on the bright side is that by the end of 2013, LTE will have nearly the same coverage as 3G. So SVDO kind of won't matter as much in the long run.

I am not sure why this keeps coming up. We reported a month ago that the EVO 4G LTE does support SVDO. Its FCC certification clearly demonstrates 18 different modes of SVDO capability. If handsets that reach subs do not allow SVDO, then HTC or Sprint has had the capability locked out in firmware.
