Hmmm, that would make sense then. I won't be going back that way for awhile, but I'll try and at least go to Waupaca here soon to see if I can recreate this and get some screenshots. I'm still at 0 for roaming data as of today!!
My speeds indoors are going up and down (not by much) even with Magic Box. In the last few days, my MB has been going back and forth between Band 25 and Band 41. (just like without my MB...it would oscillate indoors ... guess that's why I was approved for a MB?! Borderline B41 here... Maybe Massive Mimo or a "Merger" will help?
I would assume it would be, being at where I was. But I have no way to confirm it because of SCP saying it was a "Sprint" LTE signal. But my Note 5 was roaming for sure. This is all an area where I'm lucky to get a decent 3G signal. So it definitely was from another provider.
That is true however Sprint has a negative operating margin. Out of the 4 US providers, Sprint is the only one to keep having this financial issue. They have for quite sometime and financially while they are not under any threat to go bankrupt, at the same time they are behaving like a half dead zombie that isn't quite dead, but not fully alive to make heavy hitting upgrades to compete with AT&T and Verizon. So you are right it does come down to money which Sprint isn't swimming in.
In fact, here in California I don't have access to Band 26 due to the issue with Mexico, so it's just 41 or 25 for me.
