Uhh ohh.  Where did I put my tin foil hat?  You know my feeling on the Chinese government.  I know they are all after my Lucky Charms!

I do not trust the Red Chinese any further than I can throw them.  And while they are tiny people -- Yao Ming excepted -- I really should not be throwing billions of people with my bum ankle.

So I think I'm on board also with this device, just waiting to read about its rf qualities.https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1VjiRYJN807VkxzVfsBBHrm0lA0lSjgR2XOQ0cvsoHsQ/edit#slide=id.g641283af0_0_93 open speaker notes for further info on the link. Nice 3450mah battery and amoled display!

Have the radio specs leaked yet? Wasn't there speculation that this device might not work with Sprint?

as the Nexus 6 successor it 99.999% will work on Sprint due to how Google Fi is setup right now.

XDA recognized developer posted on reddit that he has a system image of the Nexus 6P. This is the link to the thread stating that in the system image there is AT&T T Mobile and Sprint project fi capability out the box.

If AT&T joined the Project Fi, I may switch off AT&T.  Awesome.

And look what just passed through the fcc https://ausdroid.net/2015/09/28/following-little-brothers-footsteps-huawei-nexus-6p-just-passed-fcc-sd-card-tow/ appears to have full carrier support and Micro SD slot! Whaaaat!!!! for even more storage options. When can we expect a numbers breakdown for radio performance last piece of this leak puzzle.

Why wouldn't it?

There have been past Nexus devices that have not supported Sprint, look at the Nexus 4.  A lot has changed since then, however, if you read back in this thread, there were some that theorized that could happen here with two Nexus devices being released and one being from a manufacturer that traditionally hasn't  had a large footprint in the US.

And there is the FCC confirmation, it's got everything :)

Im not sure that is what it means. But, would be awesome for native coverage reasons if it did! Just think the info for carrier was already inside code along side other info for the Tmo and Sprint with fi,in my hast I didn't make the message as clear.

I think he means if the at&t network was part of Project Fi.

Only downsides so far for me is the old Amoled screen tech, the chipset, and the size of the phone.  Everything else is looking promising, especially the SD slot/Battery.  I'm curious to see what the first reviewers say.

Old Amoled tech? All current samsungs use super amoled and they are the cream of the crop.

I personally love amoled screens due to insane black levels.

Supposedly, it'll have the same screen-tech as Samsung's GS4.

Damn you Google.

You are making me choose between 1) cheap, small, shitty storage options and 2 GB ram with an 808 and 2) Expensive, huge, great storage options and an 810.

All I wanted was an easy choice you absolute bastards.

LOL.  If the 32GB option has 3GB of RAM, I'm pulling the trigger.  I'll probably still get the 5X even with 2GB.  But I'll probably upgrade from it within a year. :P

Starting price @ $479.99? They've got me at that damn price point baby! (android police)

I just read $499, since I expected to spend 650 I'm jumping on the 64GB model and picking up a ton of USB C cables.

Well that explains the N6 huge dip it price.
