Azimuth
Very recently our baby carrier pipped the big guns and pushed out LTE-A on some of their towers. The media spec says 150Mbps capability (but of course we know this to be 1Gbps on paper). The only issue for now is that our carriers are concentrating heavily on profitability. This comes to the detriment of users living in the ordinary burbs, not Beverley Hills equivalent. The short of it: my area is not getting the LTE-A upgrade. In doing some digging, our largest carrier has live LTE-A results from as early as September 2014 but is not making a huge media hype about their capability yet. I saw screenshots of 312Mbps. Holy bat balls! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Azimuth
What should I be looking for in terms of RRUs? Same look? Bigger? Hopefully I can look back at older photos after time and can spot the new radios. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Azimuth
Somewhat of a resurrection but 2Y later and LTE-A is showing up as "active" all over. In fact, my street is not too far out of the zone. We're not seeing a lot of crazy speeds, yet; people that are lucky enough max out at 100Mbps. This didn't stop me from upgrading my B593 LTE CPE to the E5186 LTE-A CPE. Hoping for records one day soon...
