taylorcox75
Using https://secure.sprintbuyback.com/cns/selector if you say your Nexus 5's carrier is Sprint, the trade in value is $97, saying it is T-Mobile, $150 And we all know that there is only one Nexus 5, Sprint and T-Mobile use the same exact model. The site requires you to enter your phones serial number too after you select the phone, which makes this difference in pricing awk.
themuffinman
Either price is a total rip off, used nexus 5's in mint condition are still pulling $300 on ebay.

The prices on Ebay went up after the Nexus 6 announcement. Assuming the demand for them increased after people realized that the next Nexus was going to 6". I picked mine up a couple weeks prior to the N6 announcement in new condition for $210. Now you'll be lucky to get it for $275.

If the nexus 6 came in at under $400 then it would be different.

themuffinman
True, didn't think about cost. Yeah, a 6" phone is just to big for me but if the nexus 6 came in at under $400 I would have bought it on day one for sure.
Yuhfhrh
In reality, Sprint's N5 is more valuable. It works on any compatible carrier, whereas T-mobile's works on anyone but Sprint.
