My Not 4 just died on me. I feel lost with out it. Sprint gave me th N5 they didnt have anymore N4's. I hate the n5. You cant multitask while talking on the phone, know SD card, couldn't fit what i had in my n4 to n5. Anyone here something about Note 8 coming out soon??

Was it a courtesy swap or was it via assurion? If it was through Assurion, you probably could have gotten away with getting a phone that meets your needs.

What do you mean by multitasking while on the phone?

Talk on the phone, switch to internet while still on the phone. Get what I need from the internet and continue talking on speaker phone.

The Note 4 couldn't do that without being connected to WiFi. The Note 3 was the last note device on Sprint that could do simultaneous voice and data.

If your note 4 had band 41, 26 there is no way you had simultaneous voice and data.

The January security update showed up on my phone Sunday morning. Hit update if it hasn't popped up for you yet.

Are you using a n910P or some other model? My N910C received the Jan update.

I assume it is a hardware issue..  anyone's Note 4 acting up recently?  Even with a hardware reset and ODIN reflash it still is rebooting/freezing.

Guess I'll be going to my wife's old S5 for now until I get a replacement.

Yes I have a new battery and SD card removed so those as a possibility are eliminated

I have a note 4 that's mint if interested. No use to me since I am not on sprint anymore.

    • I posted this in the Nebraska Premier thread last week, but just wanted to share in this thread the progress that T-Mobile has made in filling in the great coverage gap known as Nebraska. Between late last year and this year, they have added 28 new expansion sites filling in the coverage hole, plus 11 Sprint site conversions in eastern Nebraska and far western Iowa. Notably, in the last month n41 coverage was added on over a dozen expansion sites in western Nebraska that were added to the network last year. For comparison, here is the very first map that I created in October of 2022 after we noted expansion sites outside of Sprint conversion in Lincoln and Omaha. It doesn't show any western parts of the state, but just know there was nothing besides roaming coverage and a little B12 coverage leaking down from South Dakota to the west of Valentine, NE.
    • Sent a copy of my DB in an e-mail just now.  Couldn't leave the house today but can hopefully get a screenshot when I'm out on another cell site tomorrow.
    • 76MB Google Play System update after that, bringing the date up to 3/1 from prior 2/1 date.
    • April security patch is already out - 738.30 MB download.
    • What do you see with the latest alpha/ beta version?
