ghostkilla1388
Don't look to much like the att active, more like a s5 with a built on incipio case. If it would be more like the att version I might would have done some selling and trading to buy one. But this is a good option for people to choose from. chappo2000
So yesterday Sprint posted this to their newsroom site: And here is the Sprint version of the GS5 Active. Source: Sprint Ugh. 16 gig, huh? PDXmike
Since "Sport" models are often denoted with an "S," I think this should be called the Samsung Galaxy S5S. Then we can sit back and enjoy watching the further confusion caused as people talk about their S5, 5S, and S5S phones...
Silenze
So what is the difference between this and the regular s5? Will regular s5 cases fit this phone?
themuffinman
So what is the difference between this and the regular s5? Will regular s5 cases fit this phone? Its basically a much more durable version of the current model. As far as cases, I would assume that since this is more durable its also going to be slightly larger so no chance of current gs5 cases working on this. Galaxyguy
Anyone get the Sport? I looked into it for my wife but we decided against it. To me, the sport just doesn't do much unless you're a runner. If Sprint had the active, I think I would get that for her though. I like the extra toughness of the phone and she's hard on phones. UPdownLoAD
Just in case I'm not the only one with a S5 Sport, NK2 (still 4.4.2) is rolling out to the S5 Sport. Was not able to get it OTA since rooted, but plugged into Kies 3, and it updated perfectly (lost root).
Terrell352
Just in case I'm not the only one with a S5 Sport, NK2 (still 4.4.2) is rolling out to the S5 Sport. Was not able to get it OTA since rooted, but plugged into Kies 3, and it updated perfectly (lost root). this is why I don't like carrier exclusive phones. The s5 got 4.4.4 a while ago and we s5 sport owners are still waiting
