How to Spot Sprint 8T8R TD-LTE RRHs (Alcatel-Lucent)

Can anyone help me identify some cell sites :)

What's the little one with three panels and then the larger one next to it? I think it's Sprint or Clear since it kinda looks like the images in this thread.

 

3 antenna sector = old nextel iDen

 

Antennas with microwave = someones legacy equipment.

Ah, Does Sprint still have the lease or whatnot with these decommissioned nextel sites, So they'll be able to stick their equipment up.

If equipment is still present then they're still paying the bills. Tower companies lease space for carriers equipment. They don't care if it'd active or not.

New 2.5 radio revision just in today.

 

RRH8x20-B

 

Mostly internal changes and externally identicle.

 

 

+3dBm (.002W) to 43dBm (20W) for 20MHz BW or +40dBm (10W) for 10MHz BW

 

Varied by Software and channel aggregation for contiguous 20+20MHz, and 20+20+20MHz and Non-contiguous 20+20MHz and 20+10MHz all for maximum aggregate power of 43dBm (20W)

Is sprint going to be using those for future deployment?

Mostly intraband contigious 20+20+20 carrier aggregation. 

 

The others are options for markets that have different 2.5 holdings.
