Sprint LTE Device Release Dates

Both LTE iPhones support 1x800 voice. As for HD Voice, I'm really not sure which phones do support it, as I thought it was supposed to be on all 1x800 capable LTE phones except the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy Nexus.

After reviewing the chart again, I guess 800voice is not a must since for example the iphone 4 and 4s are not on there -- non LTE of course. I didn't look at the whole list but prob safe to say they are all 800voice. The iphone 5 and up is.

Iphone 5c and up are HD voice capable after latest iOS update.

You got it. The iPhones finally started supporting 1x800 in their last release (they still don't support B41, though).

Like you say, its pretty safe to say all other devices Sprint sells supports 1x800.

I heard the G3 passed through FCC earlier this week. Anyone confirm?

Actually, it was over a week ago, but it did.

Anyone find anything on the Z3 for Sprint?  I couldn't find anything on FCC yet but I'm not sure I'm looking in the right spot. lol

Nope. I'll keep looking and hopefully soon something will show up.

I found a cool resource to help you visually compare the sizes of all sorts of phones/devices:

http://www.piliapp.com/actual-size/

Could help out those of you who are interested in getting a ballpark of how much larger (or smaller) your current phone is compared to a newer one.

http://www.phonearena.com/phones/size is a good tool for this as well

Yeah that's the one I usually use for my phone sig (which i have to redo again). another one I like to use for phone size compare is versus.com. both the versus one and phonearena one usually have the latest phones in their database.

Looks like the HTC Desire 510 was launched (today?). Only $216 new, tri-band.

Yep. Launched September 19, 2014. Not sure I understand this odd pricing scheme. Must be the effect of Easy Pay.

    • Definite usage quirks in hunting down these sites with a rainbow sim in a s24 ultra. Fell into a hole yesterday so sent off to T-Mobile purgatory. Try my various techniques. No Dish. Get within binocular range of former Sprint colocation and can see Dish equipment. Try to manually set network and everybody but no Dish is listed.  Airplane mode, restart, turn on and off sim, still no Dish. Pull upto 200ft from site straight on with antenna.  Still no Dish. Get to manual network hunting again on phone, power off phone for two minutes. Finally see Dish in manual network selection and choose it. Great signal as expected. I still think the 15 minute rule might work but lack patience. (With Sprint years ago, while roaming on AT&T, the phone would check for Sprint about every fifteen minutes. So at highway speed you could get to about the third Sprint site before roaming would end). Using both cellmapper and signalcheck.net maps to hunt down these sites. Cellmapper response is almost immediate these days (was taking weeks many months ago).  Their idea of where a site can be is often many miles apart. Of course not the same dataset. Also different ideas as how to label a site, but sector details can match with enough data (mimo makes this hard with its many sectors). Dish was using county spacing in a flat suburban area, but is now denser in a hilly richer suburban area.  Likely density of customers makes no difference as a poorer urban area with likely more Dish customers still has country spacing of sites.
    • Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.
    • Good catch! I meant 115932/119932. Edited my original post I've noticed the same thing lately and have just assumed that they're skipping it now because they're finally able to deploy mmWave small cells.
    • At some point over the weekend, T-Mobile bumped the Omaha metro from 100+40 to 100+90 of n41! That's a pretty large increase from what we had just a few weeks ago when we were sitting at 80+40Mhz. Out of curiosity, tested a site on my way to work and pulled 1.4Gpbs. That's the fastest I've ever gotten on T-Mobile! For those that know Omaha, this was on Dodge street in Midtown so not exactly a quiet area!
