Photon software update released today.

The long awaited update has released today.

 

I think it is taking over all of Sprint's site bandwidth and knocking it offline.

 

It is installing on my phone as I write this.

One of my two photons was acting really bad. almost to the point that I was going to take it back. But I decided to reflash it back to stock and then I updated it to the current OTA. it works now as new.

The OTA update permanently locks your bootloader so buyer beware. It does introduce some nice things such as 1080p camera. But other that the update is just not worth it. I would much rather wait until the official ICS update comes out. In the mean time I want to keep the options open to be able to unlock my bootloader and test out a CM10 rom while the official ICS update is still being built.
