I just checked Sensorly and it looks like LTE is almost connected fully from SoCal to Vegas. Which is exciting for my roadtrips when I go to Vegas. Can anyone or anyone from SoCal that's heading to Vegas in the near future confirm this.

Must be nice. Meanwhile we're struggling here in SoCal

How so? It's been in testing. Still as slow as Band 25 is. Only difference is I get 2 "bars" LTE in my house now instead of just outside only.

Which is why I want band 26. Better indoor signal. I'll get better and more consistent signal at work when it's rolled out. Plus it'll fill in gaps here in SoCal

Where has B26 LTE been in testing in So Cal?  It still has interference issues with SB county.

It looks like LTE from SoCal to Vegas is almost complete. Great news for S customers in either market that travel

I saw that this morning on my trip to LA.

I know on the North side of Baker there was LTE, and for most of the trip between Baker and Barstow there was LTE. I will check and will run Sensorly on my lg g Pad tonight or tomorrow morning on my way home to add any missing spots.

I should clarify that I turn off on Highway 127 at Baker and go up to Shoshone to go home to Pahrump.

LTE looks practically complete now. Ladies and gents. Finally. My Vegas road trips will be [emoji91][emoji91][emoji91][emoji91][emoji91][emoji91] now

I mapped from LA up to Baker with my LG G Pad, so figure iffy on anything lower than 3 bars on their coverage map. My iPhone was not connected at all times to LTE. Of course with Sensorly, I would always be cautious with anything under 3 bars.

If Sprint is launching B26 LTE down I-15 after re-banding is complete it sure will help though.

Oh, here's one. Sprint service has been fully dead since I got home from LA this morning. And now it's still dead, with no official eta for restoration. No LTE, no CDMA, just roaming on Verizon, with Verizon EVDO dead as a door nail.

Yep. And it's been down 2 days now. They said they were working on it. They told someone the site that was down is 6 1/2 miles from them. I assume it's one link in the microwave chain they just recently put up. It's possible it was hit by lightning, but who knows.

OK, I am visiting Las Vegas and am on the bridge between Excalibur and the Tropicana casino/hotels.

Outside with a band 41 signal level of -92.  Data barely works.

Do a speedtest and get less than 1 mb down and .1 up. Sometimes a speedtest craps out because of the upload being so bad.

Come-on Sprint. Quit advertising your super high speeds until you fix the embarrassments like this.

The bad part is that I could not get away from Band 41 and possibly get on band 25 or 26.  Of course, if the back-haul is not there at the site, all bands would probably be bad.  If this is congestion due to many users on the strip, then this is Sprints fault for not having the capacity there.

Sure glad VOLTE is not yet active with sites like this.  And do not even think abot hob bad the signal performs if you are not on the bridge or in one of the buildings.

Will be in Vegas this weekend and will check it out. Never had issues when visiting Vegas.

I have not been here long enough to check out the entire strip.  But the excaliber-tropicania area was bad yesterday. Going to travel some other areas on foot today along the strip.  Out of the strip area, I did find some very good areas yesterday.  Is it possible that we only have one carrier for band 41 here?   I only see #40072 in the debug screen. How many thousands of tourists can be packed in the 6 or so hotels within range of this site that is running so slow.

    • I posted this in the Nebraska Premier thread last week, but just wanted to share in this thread the progress that T-Mobile has made in filling in the great coverage gap known as Nebraska. Between late last year and this year, they have added 28 new expansion sites filling in the coverage hole, plus 11 Sprint site conversions in eastern Nebraska and far western Iowa. Notably, in the last month n41 coverage was added on over a dozen expansion sites in western Nebraska that were added to the network last year. For comparison, here is the very first map that I created in October of 2022 after we noted expansion sites outside of Sprint conversion in Lincoln and Omaha. It doesn't show any western parts of the state, but just know there was nothing besides roaming coverage and a little B12 coverage leaking down from South Dakota to the west of Valentine, NE.
    • Sent a copy of my DB in an e-mail just now.  Couldn't leave the house today but can hopefully get a screenshot when I'm out on another cell site tomorrow.
    • 76MB Google Play System update after that, bringing the date up to 3/1 from prior 2/1 date.
    • April security patch is already out - 738.30 MB download.
