5 Carrier Band 41 Site Found and Two Band 25 10x10 Carriers

With some patience I found and documented a Band 41 - 5 Carrier site at 1903 S Perdieu Rd, Muncie, IN.  I know some other 5 carrier sites have been found, but this is the first one to my knowledge that has been well documented with the SignalCheck Pro Google Play app:

Yup—we’ve got tons of sites like this in Seattle. Most in downtown run 5 L2500 carriers plus 10x10 L1900 at 4x4 MIMO. And we’re getting 3x3 L800 (at 4x4 MIMO as well) pretty quickly too. It’s an exciting time for the Sprint network for sure!

So this is high capacity with out B41 MIMO? Also has anyone seen this set up in Chicago I think they have that much L1900 available.

The left antenna facing towards you has the band 25 LTE with two 10x10 carriers, likely with Band 25 Carrier Aggregation (I did not test for that).  The smaller antenna facing towards you on the right with the single RRH and more wires has the Band 41 with 5 carriers for a total of 100Mhz of spectrum.  It needs a Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ to tell its maximum level of Band 41 Carrier Aggregation.

Can anyone do a speed test with a s9?

Gotta have some great speeds for all the cattle and farms.😁  Looks strangely familiar to the Ashtabula county B41 sites that were amongst the first to get the upgrade it in my market back in October 2014.

Approximately 150/8.  Normally when I get 80 around Columbus, the guys with S9+s can get 200.

    • Hehe! Free year BYOD time!
    • I don't have any Sprint lines as I am on at&t(off topic but dang no small cells and their speeds are awful lol cannot wait to jump ship lol), but from the looks of it i'm assuming it's Comcast as it was the only landline cabling on the utility pole. The one i'll post tomorrow i'm thinking is fed with an at&t fiber connection....or maybe Lightspeed? (never heard of them but apparently have a presence in Detroit.) I know Verizon small cells are fed by CenturyLink so it could be them as well. We also have a local Fiber network exclusive to Detroit Proper (Rocket Fiber owned by Quicken Loans) so that is also another possible candidate.  Anyway; I will find out and post whatever I can tomorrow.  Looks like I need to pick up a sprint line
    • Tomorrow I will take pictures of another one about a mile away in a pretty desolate area of Detroit. However, a massive condominium complex is being built in this area so once completed it will be a pretty nice area. Will post pics of my other finding sometime tomorrow if I can get the chance. Stay tuned.
    • Relays can be used temporarily to bring up sites immediately while dedicated traditional landlines are delivered. In fact, it's one of the touted benefits of the technology. Sprint small cells don't need to wait weeks to months for backhaul to arrive like back during NV days.  Also yes. That's an Airharmony 4000 B41 mini macro connected on its ethernet backhaul port to a provider of some sort.  Actually now that I think of it, you're the first one to confirm with pictures an AIrspan small cell connected to what appears to be a landline backhaul. Were you able to grab any cell info from it like carriers live or EARFCN?
    • That's what I figured. It's hard to say if the relay was there in the first place because two weeks ago this small cell wasn't even there. I'm wondering if they'd being Comcast...
