I'm willing to bet, Marcelo is waiting to pull the trigger on all of those Uncarrier announcements. Unlike Dan Hesse, Marcelo wastes no time countering T-Mobile's moves. I'm willing to bet Sprint will be adding additional value to that $60 Unlimited plan at no cost like 2GB of tethering or something along those lines.

I am hoping for an iPhone deal.

Yeah...I think the iPhone has something to do with the T-Mobile move...day after the iPhone announcement.

Sprint is doing a great job of reacting VERY quickly. Marcelo is one to make quick decisions and get stuff done.

I don't blame Dan though, I think his "problem" was he focused on the big picture.

Whereas Marcelo is more concerned with the here and now, cause otherwise the big picture won't matter.

I'm impressed with both ceos.

Hum, $50 a month eh? With employer discounts that could be really a good step for Framily users and for competitiveness overall. For new Sprint users it would mean that 2 unlimited lines = 2 lines on the 20 GB tier which is fine by me. If that stays I will remain on Family Share until the promotion ends next December and then switch to 2 lines on unlimited to save money.

So is the new lease option shown for the 5c I assume?

Also can a customer add or open another "line" for this? I have a 2 line 20gb plan now. I'd eventually pay off my galaxy s5 easy pay and close that line but not right away. Hmmm this is an amazing offer.

Yeah just noticed that. Damn Marcelo did a bang up job. I can't see Johnny beating this deal, heck even just matching it.

Unless apple gave them the same deal.

Even if they did, Sprint beat them to the punch. This fight is getting interesting!

    • Definite usage quirks in hunting down these sites with a rainbow sim in a s24 ultra. Fell into a hole yesterday so sent off to T-Mobile purgatory. Try my various techniques. No Dish. Get within binocular range of former Sprint colocation and can see Dish equipment. Try to manually set network and everybody but no Dish is listed.  Airplane mode, restart, turn on and off sim, still no Dish. Pull upto 200ft from site straight on with antenna.  Still no Dish. Get to manual network hunting again on phone, power off phone for two minutes. Finally see Dish in manual network selection and choose it. Great signal as expected. I still think the 15 minute rule might work but lack patience. (With Sprint years ago, while roaming on AT&T, the phone would check for Sprint about every fifteen minutes. So at highway speed you could get to about the third Sprint site before roaming would end). Using both cellmapper and signalcheck.net maps to hunt down these sites. Cellmapper response is almost immediate these days (was taking weeks many months ago).  Their idea of where a site can be is often many miles apart. Of course not the same dataset. Also different ideas as how to label a site, but sector details can match with enough data (mimo makes this hard with its many sectors). Dish was using county spacing in a flat suburban area, but is now denser in a hilly richer suburban area.  Likely density of customers makes no difference as a poorer urban area with likely more Dish customers still has country spacing of sites.
    • Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.
    • Good catch! I meant 115932/119932. Edited my original post I've noticed the same thing lately and have just assumed that they're skipping it now because they're finally able to deploy mmWave small cells.
