Network Vision/LTE - Idaho Market (including Boise, Twin Falls, Pocatello, Idaho Falls)

Yep my phone is now connecting to 800Mhz - SID:22408 NID:237. Off curtis and overland in Boise, ID. Channel 476. Most would think this is good news, but now my phone refuses to connect to my Airave Airvana femtocell device. When on the 800Mhz band my phone recieves about -85 dBm, which isn't horrible, but as soon as I press a button (touch tone during call) or start talking the call is lost. Its like the transmit is WAY weaker than the recieve ability on the Note 3.

I tried to give priority to my airave SID and NID, as per some instructions I've found on this site. But the only way to force my Note 3 to connect to the airave is to actually BLACKLIST the new 800Mhz sid/nid combination.

Anyone have any ideas on how to give preference to the airave? I tried this method, substituting my Airave SID / NID for the ones given in the article. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2091558

I would like to still be able to use the specific SID/NID when i'm outside my home. But the current method no longer works. Its like the 800Mhz channel 476 gets preference regardless of PRL, unless its completely blacklisted in the PRL.

Visiting Idaho Falls this week. Excellent sprint coverage and 4g speeds! I'm very jealous. Kind of surprised there is not much sensorly mapping going on though so it looks like I have some painting the map to perform.

On my trip from Pocatello to Ammon, I noticed the coverage along the freeway has improved greatly and the 3g was speed was impressive. My phone Tab 3 and N5 stayed connected to 1x800 most of the time (my tab 3 is still on it). When I connected to 4g my Tab 3 was averaging 7-8Mbs, my N5 had to be forced to 4g and averaged 5Mbs...both had peaks around 12Mbs.

These are some screenshots while on 1x800, I also mapped/speed test on Sensorly.

I can't wait til they get this CSFB issue fixed so I can fully use my N5

Seems like you have people in Idaho Falls and Poky. I figured I would help contribute here from Rexburg.
I've been running sensorly more often lately as I am a delivery driver. No 4g up here yet, but I will report I am noticing faster 3g inside the city of Rexburg. I will be running speed tests to confirm as right now my only evidence is my podcasts downloading much faster than usual on 3g.
Hope I can help you guys out.

Sprint LTE in Idaho Falls is probably doing just fine with a Triband phone right about now.  ;)

    • I posted this in the Nebraska Premier thread last week, but just wanted to share in this thread the progress that T-Mobile has made in filling in the great coverage gap known as Nebraska. Between late last year and this year, they have added 28 new expansion sites filling in the coverage hole, plus 11 Sprint site conversions in eastern Nebraska and far western Iowa. Notably, in the last month n41 coverage was added on over a dozen expansion sites in western Nebraska that were added to the network last year. For comparison, here is the very first map that I created in October of 2022 after we noted expansion sites outside of Sprint conversion in Lincoln and Omaha. It doesn't show any western parts of the state, but just know there was nothing besides roaming coverage and a little B12 coverage leaking down from South Dakota to the west of Valentine, NE.
    • Sent a copy of my DB in an e-mail just now.  Couldn't leave the house today but can hopefully get a screenshot when I'm out on another cell site tomorrow.
    • 76MB Google Play System update after that, bringing the date up to 3/1 from prior 2/1 date.
    • April security patch is already out - 738.30 MB download.
    • What do you see with the latest alpha/ beta version?
