Good to see a new poster around here. Would you be able to use a program like SignalCheck (or equivalent) and post the SID and BID values. I just wonder which tower you are connecting to. Would need on a good and bad day.

I can tell you for a fact that the closest tower to you has had this issue with one cell for sure. Off and one for the last month. Also when it happened for me I was constantly jumping around 6 towers.

Thankfully our contracts are up in May. Sprint has us until then....I think we've been on Sprint since 98. It's never been this bad.

Lucky, I'm regretting resigning. Half tempted just to pay termination fee tired of nothing getting resolved half people I call I have to call twice because when they answer first time all I hear is myself. Told sprint but it's always same answer "upgrading"

My problem I believe is tower SID: 4126, BID: 44852 (xAF34).  I'm assuming it's next to Rudy's Hot Dog on Summit. Signal bounces between 85-111dBm.  (however it seems fine right now)

Based on what I have written down for these towers.

Ketukkee Trail is the one behind Meijer.

Waldorf is over by I-280

Rudy's is actually the 514 (hex 202)

The last one has got me. That is a new 3G site for around here. Guess I really need to check that site Ryan asked me to a week ago and have been busy.

edit: I spend a lot of time in this area so these are the towers I have the most data for.

Sorry for spamming.  So I just figured out (by dialing *99) that I am connecting to someone's air rave... This may explain my crap signal??   Do air rave's have their own BID? If I'm not connected to this BID 44852 everything works fine.  Any suggestions on how to not connect to a neighbor's air rave?

Thanks @blkkatana.  I Spent the morning on chat and phone yesterday with sprint.  He tried to find the neighbor with the airrave and couldn't.  "WOW this person must really have that thing cranked to the max" Regardless, they are sending me a free air rave.

Is there any word on whether Toledo will get 1x800? I enjoyed it in Chicago a few weeks ago and noticed near Monroe yesterday 1xRTT.

.... In a nutshell, yes. Each new network vision site has 2 new RRU's..1900 and 800.... As far in Monroe, those sites only have 1900 up... On the outside of West Toledo which where I live in sylvania, they been tested 800 only at one site

@redskykiter I have connected to that 800 site at my house when bid 514 was out. I was also connecting to the most southern accepted site in Michigan also.

edit: Check the screen shot for that. At my house I had a -105 RSSI -22.0dB Ec/Io. It would rate that as almost usable.

They're putting the hybrid cable in today..Douglas n Bancroft.... Everything else is set up, let's see how long this is gonna take to get accepted. This is a high-capacity site and it has fiber

Been there bro lol, it's nice for sure speeds are pretty good 20-40 megs. I think things will start firing up more, but that's me being optimistic of cource :tu:

    • Good catch! I meant 115932/119932. Edited my original post I've noticed the same thing lately and have just assumed that they're skipping it now because they're finally able to deploy mmWave small cells.
    • At some point over the weekend, T-Mobile bumped the Omaha metro from 100+40 to 100+90 of n41! That's a pretty large increase from what we had just a few weeks ago when we were sitting at 80+40Mhz. Out of curiosity, tested a site on my way to work and pulled 1.4Gpbs. That's the fastest I've ever gotten on T-Mobile! For those that know Omaha, this was on Dodge street in Midtown so not exactly a quiet area!
    • Did you mean a different site? eNB ID 112039 has been around for years. Streetview even has it with C-band back in 2022 - https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7303042,-73.9610924,3a,24.1y,18.03h,109.66t/data=!3m8!1e1!3m6!1s2ossx06yU56AYOzREdcK-g!2e0!5s20220201T000000!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3D2ossx06yU56AYOzREdcK-g%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.share%26w%3D900%26h%3D600%26yaw%3D18.027734930682684%26pitch%3D-19.664180274382204%26thumbfov%3D90!7i16384!8i8192?coh=205410&entry=ttu Meanwhile, Verizon's eNB 84484 in Fort Greene has been updated to include C-band and CBRS, but not mmWave. I've seen this a few times now on updated Verizon sites where it's just the CBRS antenna on its own, not in a shroud and without mmWave. Odd.
    • Drove out into the country today.  Dish stuck to my phone like glue. At least -120 rsrp. Likely only good for phone calls (should have tested.) It then switched to T-Mobile. Getting back on Dish was another issue. I am used to dragging out coverage so I expected a few miles, but had to drive at least 10 miles towards a Dish site. Airplane mode, which worked for Sprint, did nothing. Rebooting did nothing. Finally got it to change over about 2 miles from the site by manually setting the carrier to Dish then it had great reception. Sprint used to have a 15 minute timeout but I did not have the patience today.  Previously I did a speed test on Dish out in the country at the edge of Dish coverage. My speeds were 2g variety. Dish has really overclocked some of these sites. Seen rssp readings in the 50s. Would have called them boomer sites with Sprint but much  more common with Dish.
