Visiting Vegas this week. Notice B26 appearing few times compared to last time.

Also notice the ping is very high on B41. I don't normally see ping over 100.

I also noticed the same on Band 41 in Minnesota yesterday. Consistent pings above 105. Maybe it's related.

That's my home market. I don't see ping above 100 on B41

2nd-4th results are Band 41 3rd carrier from yesterday. But that's not normal, and could really just be the test server. But, I've never had that high pings with any server before.

Still lots of improvement needed in Vegas when it comes to the casinos. Where a lot of people walk through.

Last trip I had friends with AT&T and T-mobile where they got LTE and I'm sitting on 3G.

They just started rolling out band 26 last month. I'm sure in about 4-6 months our phones will never see 3G again in that market

I so doubt that. These casinos need a DAS.

Perhaps. But some already do. I'm sure next summer it'll be a much better experience. Vegas is already is solid market for S

Many already do have a DAS. Some of them are still 3G though.

True. All the casinos I have walked through get 3G. I don't think I have seen LTE in any casinos I have stepped in.

Now LTE outside and in the conventions centers.

Now just remember, I'm still 5 miles from the serving tower, and so for a signal of -115, speeds are expected at the Speedtest posted.

crazy, is that antenna amount correct? Or is it the typical iOS field test screen fail?

You mean the 4tx antennas? I'm not sure. I hope it's correct, but who knows. If there is a way to tell on the debug screen on my LG G Pad I will look it up and see.

You are lucky to even get anything at 5 miles on band 25.   Flat land helps you.   But a receive level of -115 to -119 is not good. Just barely usable.   Hope you get band 26 soon.  Band 26 will be much better, but many at places it gets congested and speeds are not good.    Is this site your only site or will you have a better one nearer your location?

This is my only location on this side of Pahrump. And this is in testing. So hopefully they turn up the power since they only have 2 sites covering the whole valley, but yes, once they launch B26, it'll help. As of yesterday, B26 is still not scheduled.

    • I posted this in the Nebraska Premier thread last week, but just wanted to share in this thread the progress that T-Mobile has made in filling in the great coverage gap known as Nebraska. Between late last year and this year, they have added 28 new expansion sites filling in the coverage hole, plus 11 Sprint site conversions in eastern Nebraska and far western Iowa. Notably, in the last month n41 coverage was added on over a dozen expansion sites in western Nebraska that were added to the network last year. For comparison, here is the very first map that I created in October of 2022 after we noted expansion sites outside of Sprint conversion in Lincoln and Omaha. It doesn't show any western parts of the state, but just know there was nothing besides roaming coverage and a little B12 coverage leaking down from South Dakota to the west of Valentine, NE.
    • Sent a copy of my DB in an e-mail just now.  Couldn't leave the house today but can hopefully get a screenshot when I'm out on another cell site tomorrow.
    • 76MB Google Play System update after that, bringing the date up to 3/1 from prior 2/1 date.
    • April security patch is already out - 738.30 MB download.
    • What do you see with the latest alpha/ beta version?
